Hi, it’s Steve from PartSelect. Today we’re going to show you how to change the upper
wheel assembly on your dishwasher rack. Really easy job, no tools required; let me show you
how we do it.
Now to change the upper rack wheel on this dishwasher the easiest way to do it would
be to remove the rack, so we’ll pull it forward, and there are rack stops on each
side, simply press the locking tab on those, slide them out of the rails. Then we’ll
pull the rack completely out of the dishwasher and set it on a suitable work surface.
The wheel assembly just snaps into place on the side of the rack, this one’s all ready
broken, so we’ll turn that away.
Simply snap it into place, there’s a little locking tab that will hold it to the rack,
and then we’ll reinstall the rack.
It’s easier if you pull the rails forward, insert the rack fully and then reinstall the
rack stops. Make sure the little locking tab has got enough tension on it that it’ll
snap into place, and our repair is complete.
