Hi this is Miranda Thacker with your KYTC Minute. The Transportation Cabinet’s Division
of Equipment is holding its annual public auction Tuesday, September 27th. The auction
will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the equipment complex located on Wilkinson Boulevard in Frankfort.
Potential buyers may preregister and preview auction items on Monday, September 26th. The
general public will have the opportunity to bid on a variety of items including trucks,
heavy equipment, mowers, and shop implements. Even folks who are just in the market for
the unusual may find exactly what they’re looking for. The Division of Equipment auctions
off items that are due for replacement, based on specific use schedules. Proceeds from the
auction are used to purchase new equipment. More details on the public auction, including
a complete list of sale items, is available by logging onto transportation.ky.gov/equipment.
