My name is Courtney Hester on behalf of Expert Village and in this clip we're going to be
making a single fridge magnet. The first thing we're going to do is take our spring henge
clothespin and we need to paint it. I'm going to paint this one red and again using temper
paint or acrylic paint, this is acrylic paint. Now that our clothespin has been painted and
has dried, we're going to add some decoration. We're going to use some foam letters that
you can buy at any craft store, you can buy them without sticky backing or with a sticky
backing. Since these are too small I went ahead and bought the ones with a sticky back
so that they're easier to put on our magnet. This makes a great gift for kids to give their
mom's or dad's or grandparent's for holiday's or whatever. We're going to spell mom, I'm
going to take the sticky back off, we're going to place this one right on top on the handle.
Now that we have our decoration on, we need to add our magnet. You can buy a magnet strip
at your local store. This one is a little big, so we're going to cut it down and then
most of these magnets have a sticky back so we'll pull the backing off, now we're going
to stick it to the back of our clothespin. Now we have a clothespin magnet ready to go
on the fridge.
