Ingredients required for Kanchi Idli
Unpolished Rice, Rice, Black Gram, Black Peppar, Dry Ginger, Baking Soda, Salt, Cashew Nuts, Bengal Gram, Black Gram, Mustard seeds & oil
First take one cup of each raw rice, boiled rice, Black Gram & brown rice, soak them for five hrs & grind them into a batter,let it stand overnight.
Now soak some ground dry ginger in some water for a while, add the soaked dry ginger water to the batter .
Now add some baking soda, salt & pepper powder to the batter and mix it well
Heat some oil in pan, add bengal gram, black gram, mustard seeds & cashew nuts, fry them for a while.
Now add the fried mix into the batter and mix them well
Take a few small steel glasses, fill it up with the batter & pressure cook them for twenty minutes
Now remove the kanchi idlis into a serving plate
