Recipe - Bangaladumpa Garelu (Potato Fritters) Recipe With English Subtiltes

What are you going to cook for us today? Potato Garelu
Ingredients required for Bangaladumpa Garelu
Potatoes, Green Chillies, Mustard Seeds, Asafoetida, Coriander Leaves, Curry Leaves, Gram Flour, Rice Flour, Salt & Oil
First cut some potatoes into half, boil them well and peel the skin off, mash them & keep them aside
Heat some oil in a pan for deep fry
Now grind some chopped green chillies, one tbsp of mustard seeds, pinch of asafoetida, coriander leaves & curry leaves altogether into a paste
Take a bowl, add the mashed potatoes, ground spice mix paste, 2 tbsps of gram flour, 1 tbsp of rice flour & some salt into it, mix them well until they turn into a thick batter
Gram Flour is for the binding of batter & rice flour is for the crispness
Apply some oil to your palm & make some thick patties out of the prepared batter & make a hole in the middle of prepared patties
Now deep fry the prepared patties until they turn into golden brown in colour
Remove the fried patties into a serving plate
