Create and Print Online Greeting Cards in 5 Minutes!

Hello again, my name is Matt Bauer and welcome to another video in our HOW MCW series. Last
week, I showed you how to import pictures into your computer and organize them with
Picasa. Now I’ll show you how to create online greeting cards and print them at a
local store. If you’d like to create and print a card
at Walgreens, just go to Walgreens.com, then click Photo. You’ll need to create an account
before you can start your creation, so just click Create Account. Enter your first name,
last name, email address, and then to avoid having to select a username that nobody else
has, you can check the box called Make this my user name. Then enter your desired password,
and enter it once again to confirm. Make sure your password has at least one number in it.
It’s of course up to you if you want to receive offers from Walgreens in your email.
Then click Sign Up. Click Get Started. Then I agree. Then click
Upload to this Album. Go ahead and name the album. Then click Browse on the first Photo
line, then select the photo you want. You can do this for additional photos as well.
Once you have all the photos selected, click Upload Photos, At this screen, click See Entire
Album. Under Create on the right side, select Cards, then select Photo Cards. Under Filter
by Location, select the type of card you would like to create. Then select the card layout
you would like. Once you’ve set these options, click Create This Card. Then simply drag and
drop the photo or photos to their placeholders as shown here. You can also add text by clicking
this placeholder. The options to adjust the text are above the text box. When you’re
done, click Apply Changes. When you’re done with these options, click Continue. Choose
the options you would like from this screen, including quantity of sets. When you’re
done, check the box showing that you have your card for errors. Then click Add to Cart.
Look over your cart to make sure everything is correct, then click Checkout. Enter the
Zip Code of the store where you would like to pick it up. Then click Continue. Choose
your preferred location. Select your preference for when you would like the cards ready, then
click Continue. You can either pay online or in-store. Once you’ve made your selection,
click Continue. Verify that all info is correct, then click Submit Order.
The ordering process for Walmart is very similar to the Walgreens process. From the Walmart.com
homepage, hover your mouse over Photo and click Greeting Cards. Select the type of card
you want, select the occasion, then the card layout. Here’s where you’ll need to make
an account, so just select Create Account. Enter your first name, last name, email address,
email address again, desired password, confirm the password, year of birth, again your preference
on receiving emails from Walmart. Check this box to agree to the terms of use. Then click
Register. Click upload on the right side, then name your album and select the photos
you’d like to include in the album. Then click Upload Now. Click and drag the photo,
You can edit the photo by clicking this button. When done, click Apply Changes. You can make
changes to the inside and back of the card by clicking here. Enter text just like in
the Walgreens demonstration. When finished, click Continue. Select your preference here,
the click Continue. Choose the options you would like from this screen, including quantity
of sets. When you’re done, check the box showing that you have your card for errors.
Then click Add to Cart. Make sure your cart is correct and click Proceed to Checkout.
Choose between Home Delivery or Pickup site2store. If you select site2store, enter your zip code
to find the nearest store location. When done, click Continue. Make sure your contact information
is correct, then click Continue. Set your payment method and all information, and complete
