New York Habitat Vacation Rental Visit
Rue Rambuteau
Le Marais - Paris, France
Hello and welcome to our New York Habitat
vacation rental video tour.
Today we're going to take you
on a tour of a nice studio apartment
at rue Rambuteau
between the 3rd and 4th districts of Paris.
This apartment is found
in the very popular Marais
a lively neighborhood
filled with cafés and trendy boutiques.
Walking through a small interior courtyard,
you'll come to an elevator
which will take you up
to this well kept studio
found on the sixth and final floor.
The door of the studio opens into a small,
well-laid out kitchen.
You'll find all the necessary items for cooking,
such as a refrigerator, a stove, and a microwave.
To the left, the windows look out
onto the small courtyard.
Facing the kitchen, you'll find a small bathroom
with exposed stone walls.
The bathroom has a sink,
a cupboard, a mirror and a shower.
As with most studio apartments,
the living area will serve as
both your living room and your bedroom.
You'll find a small table with two chairs,
a wall mounted TV, a sofa bed, dresser drawers
and a small stereo to listen to music.
Wifi internet is also provided in this apartment.
This cozy vacation rental
is found in the heart of Paris.
Let's go out and explore
the surrounding neighborhood.
In exiting the building,
you'll find yourself in a dynamic
and relaxed neighborhood,
perfect for strolling and shopping.
Heading up the rue des Francs Bourgeois,
you'll come to the beautiful Hôtel de Rohan,
which dates back to 1705
and is currently the home of the National Archives.
As you explore all the small streets,
you'll eventually come to rue du Trésor.
This is a charming passageway
lined with cafés and small boutiques.
Heading down the rue de Rivoli,
you'll come to the "Bazar de l'Hôtel de Ville",
or "BHV" as the Parisians call it.
This massive shopping center
sells just about everything
and can be found in front of the Hôtel de Ville.
The majestic Hotel de Ville of Paris
has been the location of the
municipality of Paris since 1357.
The square in front of the building
is a social meeting place
for both Parisians and tourists alike.
A few streets further,
in the middle of a small park,
you can't miss the imposing
gothic tower of Saint Jacques.
Raised in 1523,
it's the last remnant of a church
destroyed after the French Revolution.
Our last stop is the George Pompidou Center.
A former president of France,
George Pompidou decided to provide Paris
with a museum of contemporary art.
This colorful building,
with it's atypical style,
opened to the public in 1977.
Today, it is home to one of the
largest art collections in the world.
