The exact date of Nagy Mózes's birth is currently unknown.
Until the age of 15, he raised up in his homeland, in Esztelnek,
probably, he learned at Franciscans belonging to Kezdivasarhely.
After that, he was sent to Nagyszombat, Hungary.
In age of 28, he was ordained in Vienna,
after he was minister in 25 distant parishes
full of faith, selfless love, endless fervor,
for 12 years at the Transdanubian part of Hungary.
He got bad news from deplorable condition of the Catholics,
thus in 1674 with the permission of Archbishop of Esztergom,
he returned to his homeland.
After these, the bishop of Transylvania and
bishop deputy appointed Nagy Mozes for Esztelnek,
Lemheny, Nyujtod villages and Bereck town's parson
During his activity, he realized
that should have done a lot of things,
primarily, against the general ignorance
should have been done something.
He known that the best solution is founding a school,
thus he asked for help
from the Fraits Minor working at the Romanian principality.
The leaders of the order gave the mission
to Guanini Bonaventura Pater magister
to help Nagy Mózes in organising a school and a seminary.
In 1680 on a territory East from the church of Esztelnek,
which was given to Nagy Mózes by Porondi András pixidary,
they`ve built a small school
and at the same year the school had 10 pupils and two magisters.
The leadership of the institute was done by the Order of Frairs Minor.

approved the operation of the institute of Esztelnek
and in 1682 there were 4 teachers were teaching in the school.
Beside the numerous activities Nagy Mózes
always helped and watched over the school.
In 1684 he created the rules of the school
and in 1690 they have begun the teaching of the human subjects.
With all these the institute become a 4 class high school.
After the fall of the revolution between 1848-1849
the absolutistic austrian monarchy
have given unrealizable requirements for the school.
Because of this the teaching was suspended for 12 years.
The school was reopened in 1862
by hard work of Elekes Istvan.
Thanks to Hassak Vidor director,
in 1899 the school has earned high school rank.
In 1902, the VIII. class have been opened
but there was lack of rooms.
Papai Sandor was entrusted with
designing the still standing building.
The cornerstone was placed in October 22, 1905
on the plot purchased from the Fraits Minor.
Later the finished building was handed over on October 23, 1906
by the Wusinczky company from Brassó.
During the first world war the school was operated
as millitary hospital.
Somebody once have thought at the light,
Somebody once have dreamed
In the black supposed to be a little light spot,
To see ourself and tomorrow.
Great boredom, high violences,
But today the sky is bright.
Big search, high expectations
And Nagy Mozes.
Great boredom, high violences,
But today the sky is bright.
Big search, high expectations
And Nagy Mozes.
Somebody often refused,
Tore, jolted, cursed.
In his soul was dust, from the God
Later have blessed.
That what have collapsed
From night until morning,
Will recover again
Up to the infinity.

From night until morning,
Will recover again
Up to the infinity.
Great boredom, high violences,
But today the sky is bright.
Big search, high expectations
And Nagy Mozes.
