Managing the display of multiple views in Revit can make it easier to work on a building model.
To display a project view that is not open, locate the view in the Project Browser, and double-click the view name.
You can have multiple views open at the same time.
By default, each view displays full screen with the last opened view on top.
The name of the view that currently has focus displays in bold in the Project Browser.
To see a list of open views, on the View tab, click the Switch Windows drop-down.
A check mark indicates the view that currently has focus in the drawing area.
To display another view that is already open, click the view in the drop-down list, or double-click it in the Project Browser.
To quickly close all open views except the view that is visible, click Close Hidden on the View tab.
If views from multiple projects are open, one view remains open for each project.
To see several views at the same time, open the views that you wish to work with, and click Tile on the View tab.
Because views are different ways of looking at a building model, it is often useful to work with multiple views open at the same time.
