My name is Riki Lindhome.
And you probably know me from acting stuff and from
Garfunkel and Oates, my internet-based comedy band.
Garfunkel and Oates started when Kate and I wrote a
musical that we wanted to do.
And we had fun writing the songs, and so
we just kept going.
Oh, I was totally surprised when people started watching
our videos.
Totally.
It was not intended--
I never expected that.
So it was pretty cool.
The world was just hungry for musical
theater with dick jokes.
We always write songs differently.
Sometimes it's easy.
Sometimes it takes five months.
The song that Wil Wheaton is in took us
five months to write.
He's in a song called "Handjob, Bland Job, I Don't
Understand Job."
I feel like I've been performing my whole life.
I was like Kate, just like a total ham.
And just kept going, and then eventually
somebody paid for it.
So that was cool.
My favorite performance I've ever had was here today during
this filming.
I mean, I thought I really brought a
lot to every character.
I put a lot of work into everything.
My impressions of those people were spot-on.
So I feel really proud.
I feel like I did good work here today.
I think everyone's finding ways to make their own
material now, because it's so much easier to do.
You might as well.
When Felicia and Kate and I were all starting, we just
auditioned all the time.
And that's only so gratifying.
I think it's more fun to make your own stuff, so it's cool.
I love seeing other girls make their own stuff, and I'm glad
Felicia asked me to be a part of it.
The only time I really ever played a video game was on a
road trip with my family.
When I was in fourth grade, I played "Tetris" on a Game Boy
the whole way there and the whole way back.
Because my brother and I were fighting, and so we just like
had separate "Tetrises" and just played the whole way.
My parents did it so we would shut up.
And by the time I got back, I felt like I had enough
"Tetris."
My family plays "Trivial Pursuit" every Christmas like
it's our job.
We're very competitive about it, and
everyone's got their strengths.
And so we try to make the teams even, depending on
people's strengths.
I can't answer any sports questions.
So we have to have my dad or my brother on my team.
Yeah.
We have to divide it up, but we're pretty fierce with it.
I would say I'm an expert-level gamer who has
just yet to game.
Like once I start gaming, I'll be at expert level.
But once I venture into that world, I'll be great.
Right now, I'm a zero-level gamer.
Or maybe negative, even.
Can you go negative level?
I'm a minus one at gaming currently.
But someday I could do it, I think.
If it was my last night on Earth, I would spend it
playing "Last Night on Earth." I mean, what
else would you do?
That's the ultimate night for anyone to have.
For me, gaming is like doing running charades with my
friends, because I'm bad at every other kind of game.
So gaming is running charades.
