He’s [Brian Lara] has been amazing to watch
When he scored 613 against Sri Lanka in three test matches and the West Indies lost three-nil
Behind the stumps and he played Murali as if he was playing an under 15s team
And I’ve never seen anyone bat so well
So Brian Lara
Shane Warne

Zaheer Khan
I think he’s a fantastic bowler
I never played against Steve Waugh
But I think I would have enjoyed playing against Steve Waugh
I thought he was a fantastic cricketer for world cricket not just for Australia
So I think these three guys – four or five guys are the most impressive players I played against
COMPÈRE: Just on Warnie, was it something more the bowling about Warnie?
Was there a certain edge that he had, mentally maybe?
SANGAKARRA: I think the fact that Warne believed so hard he could do anything,
Made even the opposite think that he could
And I think he would make it very obvious to the opposition that he was in complete control
And even when he couldn’t win, he always pretended that he could
And I think that the great ability of Warnie which helped him bowl
And also the way he thought about cricket,
The way he thought about batting,
Not just his bowling, but he actually thought about batting
That made him a better bowler
So, yeah, I think he was exceptional in a lot of areas
