You know there's someone who loves you infinitely?
You know you have a friend who always cares about you,
that is super powerful and you want to give a great happiness?
Know that at all times,
but especially in times of great anxiety and distress,
this friend is by your side
to give you comfort and strength you need?
This friend is always present
even when they do not see or feel it,
but He is always waiting,
eager for your embrace, just waiting for you the first step,
the desire to reach out to them.
Even when we abandon him and turn our backs,
He never forgets us, always waiting for us.
This great friend called Jesus.
Parable of the Prodigal Son
"A man had two sons.
The younger one said to his father:
Father, give me the portion of property that suits me.
And the father divided the property between the two.
A few days later, the younger son,
taken together, went to a distant land
and there he squandered everything he had with riotous living.
Having spent everything, a severe famine in that country
and he began to go without.
So was serving one of the inhabitants of that land,
he sent him into his fields to feed the pigs.
Well he wanted to fill his stomach with the pods
the pigs were eating, but nobody gave him anything.
And coming to himself said:
How many hired servants of my father's have bread in abundance
and I here perish with hunger!
I will get up and go to my father and tell him, '
Father I have sinned against heaven and against you
I am no longer worthy to be called your son;
treat me like one of your hired.
And rising up, went to his father.
It was still away when the father saw him,
and filled with compassion,
ran to throw herself upon his neck, covering it with kisses.
The son said to him:
Father I have sinned against heaven and against you,
I no longer deserve to be called your son.
But the father said to his servants:
Bring quickly the best robe and put it on him;
set it on a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.
Bring the fattened calf and kill it;
eat and let us rejoice, because this my son was dead and is alive again;
and was lost met.
And the party began.
Now the older son was in the field.
When he returned, as he approached the house, he heard music and dancing.
He called one of the servants asked him what it was.
He said to him:
Your brother has returned and your father has killed the fattened calf,
because it arrived safe and sound.
Angry, refused to go, but he went out and pleaded with him.
Responding to his father, said:
Yeah, so many years that you serve
never violate an order your
and never this one to cheer me up kid with my friends:
and now, to get this son
which consumed thy living with harlots,
you killed the fattened calf, this is it.
The father replied:
Son, thou art ever with me and all that is mine is yours.
But we should celebrate and rejoice,
for this thy brother was dead and is alive;
was lost and found himself '.
REFLECTION
No catechesis is certainly comparable
to Chapter 15 of Luke have just heard read,
is an extraordinary page!
As you see this is the Parable of the Prodigal Son.
We should call it:
A Parable on the Heart of the Father,
because the protagonist of the parable is not
the "rogue" that son who runs away from home;
the protagonist is the Father, the Father of injured heart,
bleeding who stays at home in disgust.
Jesus wants to teach us how is the Heart of God
how this is done mainly heart when we sin.
Therefore, we should call it:
Parable of the Lost Son,
or the "Story of a Father's heart."
So how is the heart of the Father
this is what interests us understand.
We heard read:
"A father had two sons and the youngest says to his father
Father give me the share capital which is due to me!
And the Father is divided among the children what they were owed.
The Father then give in!
Why give in?
Because the Father is the Supreme Respect!
The Father is love that does not deny,
The Father is sweetness.
But the Father is also "Silence speaking"!
After a few days,
PRODIGAL son went to a distant land
and lived a dissolute life,
wasting all their possessions,
those goods that the father had joined with many sacrifices,
with so much pain with so much fatigue.
But God does not intervene,
God does not forbid
God speaks not only suffers ...;
suffers as the father!
It's SO THE HEART OF GOD.
God is infinite tolerance,
God is expected, God is love that perseveres,
God is one that resists all impatience.
Indeed, the humility of love is confusing.
Jesus in this parable
tries to explain to us how God's Heart.
When the prodigal son spent all,
a great famine arose and he began to feel hungry.
Do not forget that Jesus here
wants to teach us how is the Heart of the Father
And, at one point, Jesus says:
"God, in his silence, spoke."
But how?
Helping to reflect.
The young, penniless, he began to reflect.
Jesus makes us understand that without reflection there is no conversion:
the man actually bends only in their thinking
their thoughts and bend only in trial ...
When he spent the last note of money
the last note of pride, pleasure, etc.
then felt the weight of his misery, his ordeal.
God in His love the help,
helps you with a proof, a proof offered,
to help you get out of the mud.
And so the first half to take that poor mud
his selfishness is to meet important needs.
Spent all, he had fun ...
which is now experiencing hunger;
did not appreciate the fatigue did not appreciate the sweat,
do not appreciated the work ...
Now begin to understand how precious a piece of bread.
The ordeal is a real cure!
What Jesus wants to tell us the Father?
He tells us:
