ANTHONY: What's up everyone?
ALL: It's Midnight Red.
ANTHONY: Today you're going to be learning to dance breakdown
to our new video "Hell Yeah."
ALL: Hell yeah!
ANTHONY: Yeah, let's get started.
So we're going to start with our feet together, and it's
called a House Chug.
Your body is going one, two.
And your feet are jumping one, two.
So together, it looks like this.
Really slow, we're going to go one, two, three, four.
Easy enough?
Can we try it together?
THOMAS: We can do this.
ANTHONY: Yeah?
All right, cool.
Five, six, seven, eight, one, two, three, four.
Cool.
Now the next move is really tricky, so I'm going to start
with the feet.
The feet go kick with the right, one and two,
and three and four.
Perfect.
Once you get the feet, there's also arms with this move.
I know it's a lot, but you can get it, I promise.
They're going to go right, left, right,
left, right, left.
So together it goes five and six, seven and eight.
Now let's put all of that together to complete the first
eight count.
Let's try it.
Five, six, seven, eight, one, two, three, four, five and
six, seven and eight.
Cool.
Can we try it tempo maybe?
THOMAS: Yeah.
ANTHONY: All right, let's try it.
Five, six, seven, eight, one, two, three, four, five and
six, seven and eight.
Perfect.
All right, so let's move on to the second eight
count of this routine.
So we just ended on seven and eight.
To start this one off, we're going to spin
on one, hit, two.
And on two you can hit whatever you want.
Two, two, two, whatever it is, hit it.
So one, two, down three, up step on four.
Let's try that all together.
So we just finished on seven and eight, we're spinning one,
hit two, down three and four.
Now to move on, we just hit down, up, four.
We're going to chug with our shoulders and step with our
back left foot on five, six.
Once we're in this position, we're going to jump and our
feet are going to cross.
It's going to go pow, just like this--
seven, spin on eight.
So let's try that from the four position.
So we just went three and four, chug, five, six, jump,
seven, spin, eight.
Can we try that all together?
ALL: Yeah.
ANTHONY: All right, let's do it.
So we just ended five, six, seven and eight.
Spin one, hit two, down three, up four, chug five, six, jump
seven, spin eight.
Perfect.
Now I'm going to have Eric break down counts three, four,
five and six, because they're a little tricky.
ERIC: Thank you, Anthony.
ANTHONY: Got it, E, you got it.
ERIC: 'Sup, guys?
So we're over here, going to go over three,
four, five, and six.
When you hit your three, your hands are in blades right in
front, left leg down.
When you switch and four, your arm switches and your right
foot comes down.
After that, you're going to go chug, chug.
And at the same time you chug, your left leg
goes step, and step.
ANTHONY: Perfect.
ERIC: That's about it.
ANTHONY: So let's try that all together tempo, now that it's
been broken down and you got the tricky part locked down.
Let's try it.
Together, five, six, seven and eight.
Spin one, hit two, down three, up four,
five, six, seven, eight.
Perfect.
That's the end of the second eight count.
All right, so let's move on to the third eight count.
So we just hit our spin on eight, and we're going to
start with what we call the Superman Punch.
You're going to step with your left foot forward, jump in the
air, and clap your fists together for two.
So we go step, two, step with your right foot and lean back,
a little gangster lean.
Three and four, down five.
Can we try that together?
ERIC: No.
ANTHONY: All right, cool.
Five, six, seven, eight, one, two, three, four, five.
So to move on from there, we just went down on five.
We're going to push back with the right foot and the right
arm on six, hold seven, and hit with the left foot on
eight and--
so in out.
Cool?
Easy enough?
Let's try that.
COLTON: Seems pretty easy.
ANTHONY: So we went down on five, push back on six,
seven, eight and.
All together?
Cool?
So we just finished with the spin--
Superman Punch.
Five, six, seven, eight, step one, hit, three and four, down
five, push back, seven, eight and.
Cool?
Now, the Superman Punch is very important, and I think
Joey can show you how to perfect your Superman Punch,
so he's going to take over.
JOEY: Cue Superman music.
ERIC: Is it a bird, is it a plane?
Ah!
JOEY: All right.
I'm going to teach you how to do the Superman move, the
Superman Punch.
So this is all about attitude.
This is all about strength--
ALL: And swag?
JOEY: And swag, so here it is.
When you Superman Punch, you step with your left, correct?
You jump up, right foot goes back, you punch the air as
hard as possible, as hard as you can.
But be safe.
Don't hurt yourself , we don't want that.
Step jump, boom.
Right there.
Let's do it together, guys.
Strength.
Here we go, Superman Punch.
Five, six, seven, eight, step, boom!
ANTHONY: Ow.
COLTON: Yeah, my hands.
ANTHONY: Nice.
All right, now that we broke down the Superman Punch, let's
try it tempo.
Let's get crazy.
Ready?
So we just finish with a spin, Superman Punch.
Five, six, seven, eight, one, two, three and four, five,
six, seven, eight, and.
All right, so let's finish off the dance with
the last eight count.
We just finished with the step out.
Now we're going to hit with our elbows up, one and two,
while our knees are going one and two.
So together it's one and two, three and four.
So you're going up, up, and then all the way up.
Can we try that together?
JOEY: Yeah.
ANTHONY: Let's do it.
Five, six, seven, eight, one, two, three and four.
Cool.
Next we're going to do what we call the Hurricane Mildred,
named after Thomas's mother who is a hurricane.
THOMAS: You know Mildred, she's a hurricane.
ANTHONY: So we just went three and four, we're hitting five,
six, seven, eight.
Now that's a little tricky, so I'm going to have Thomas break
it down for you guys.
THOMAS: All right, so I'm going to break down the
Hurricane Mildred, dedicated to my mom if you're watching.
So we left here with Rocking the Cradle, we're up here top.
And we're going to wave it through and point.
And while you're doing that motion, your foot's also going
to cross over.
Now, when you're switching over to the back side, what
you're going to be doing with your arms is waving this
through like a hurricane, so think whoosh.
So here we go.
Back from Rocking the Cradle, you're going to push it
through and end here.
You're going to Hurricane through, end with an M, for
Midnight Rider.
ANTHONY: Cool.
Now that we had that broken down, let's try that whole
last eight count together.
Cool.
Five, six, seven, eight, one, two, three and four, five,
six, seven, Midnight Rider.
ALL: Yeah, man.
COLTON: All right, how we doing?
All right, guys, we're so pumped that you guys finally
learned how to do the breakdown of "Hell Yeah." We
want to see how you guys can do it though, OK?
So if you could send us your videos of you guys trying to
do this breakdown, we would be so ecstatic to see that.
OK, so we're do it one more time slowed down, and then one
more time with the music.
Guys, don't get discouraged.
This is going to take practice.
Keep replaying the video.
Trust me, it takes work.
Let's do this.
ANTHONY: All right, so let's take everything we've learned
today and put it all into one dance in slow tempo.
Cool?
Ready?
Five, six, seven, eight, one, two, three, four, five and
six, seven and eight.
Spin one, two, three and four, five, six, seven, eight.
One, two, three and four, five, six, seven, eight.
And one, two, three and four, five, six, seven, eight.
Now it's time for the real deal.
THOMAS: Tempo.
ANTHONY: Going to throw on some music.
Act like you're on stage and give us everything you've got,
because we're giving you everything we got.
So let's try it.

ALL: Woo!
ANTHONY: Yeah!
THOMAS: Did that.
ERIC: Holla.
That's a wrap.
THOMAS: That's a wrap.
COLTON: That'll do it.
THOMAS: Hell yeah, dance tutorial.
