Hi, my name is Clint Schambach, I am a personal trainer and also run a fitness boot camp in
st Louis mo. but not too long ago, I was just like you. I was searching for the answers
as to why I couldn’t lose the fat on my body. I was an athlete all my life, but I
was still called husky growing up, and that doesn’t really bother you until you find
out what it means.
My weight loss would be going fine, but I could only get to a certain point. I would
always hit that dreaded weight loss plateau that everyone knows about. I was doing all
the things the magazines and shows told me to do. And when they would fail, I put all
the blame on myself, I must be screwing something up or not working hard enough. And everyone
once in a while, I would start to feel sorry for myself, and think about how everyone else
had better genetics. Come on, that’s just an excuse, you know it, and I know it. We
both know we have the power to change our lives, and that’s what its all about, changing
our lives.
I used to scour the internet trying to learn how to get rid of this nasty stomach fat,
and finally, things started to make sense. I started to learn, why the cardio I was doing
wasn’t helping at all, and at times, was probably making things worse. I was also learning
why certain exercises weren’t doing much for me, they felt great, I could really feel
the burn so that meant it has to be working, right? Nah.. Not really. Did you know sit
ups and crunches are pretty much pointless, And can actually make you look fatter or give
you a bigger belly? I always though that burning sensation meant I was burning fat, I know
I’m not the only one who thought like that either.
