From the outside it looks like any hotel decked out for the holidays. The lobby is extravagant
and with holiday music and a massive tree you can't help but smile. But what makes this
place different from all the rest?
>> Dwight: We are Christmas 365 days a year, 24/7. We're always decorated, always in the
holiday spirit. The idea for the property came from our parent company, the Incredible
Christmas Place which is celebrating their 24th anniversary. They had so many shoppers
that said, we love shopping with you now if we only had a place to stay and so that was
kind of the genesis for the birth of the inn.
Inside the rooms of the Inn at Christmas Place are spacious showers, large kitchens and comfortable
beds with unique pillows that offer a very spirited message alongside the treats that
await your arrival, a christmas tree inside your room, specialty lamps and delightful
touches of Christmas decor.
>> Dwight: We also do fresh baked cookies every night for our guests at 8 o'clock, homemade
chocolate chip and sugar cookies as well as hot apple cider in the fall and winter months
and then homemade lemonade in the spring and summer.
Don't think for a moment that all the Christmas spirit replaces the standard amenities you've
come to expect from a modern hotel though.
>> Dwight: We have an indoor pool, hot tub open 24 hours a day, game room, fitness center,
business center, wonderful breakfast for everybody who stays with us. Biscuits, gravy, scrambled
eggs, sausage, ham, breakfast potatoes, a made to order omelette bar and fresh hot belgian
waffles.
Every railing is decorated, the countdown to Christmas is always on, Santa is almost
everywhere including the hallways and a mailbox is even waiting for your children to mail
their letters to the North Pole.
>> Dwight: We will have classes where you can learn how to tie a bow, learn how to decorate
a mantle, learn how to make your own Christmas box, learn how to decorate your own swag and
these are open to guests here at the inn.
Hours could be spent staring at the decorations, inspecting the finest details and marveling
at the lights and sounds of a holiday we wish would never end. Here, at the Inn at Christmas
Place in Pigeon Forge, TN, it never does.
>> Dwight: We want every visit whether it's your first, your fifth, your tenth or your
forty-second to be better than the first time that you were here. We want it to be unique,
we want it to be fresh and we want you to feel like that when you walk through the front
doors that you really are home and it's a place you can relax and enjoy yourself and
unwind and be pampered in the finest Smoky Mountain style.
