NARRATOR: Spot is playing catch with Tom.

Oh, dear.

I'm not as good as you, Spot.

Oh, that feels like rain.

It is.

Let's go indoors.

I'll tell Mom what I'm doing.

I'll be in in a minute.

I think the ball is my favorite toy.

It's raining, Mom.

Can we play indoors?

Of course.

But you can't play with the ball in the house, Spot.

What shall I play with?

I know, my train set.

My favorite toy.

TOM: I'm here, Spot!

Can we play with the cars?

They're my favorite.

Mine too.

Come on, let's race them.

First one to the cupboard.

Ready....

GO!

Mind the furniture, boys.

One more time.

Then I must go.

I have to go now, Spot.

See you tomorrow.

See you tomorrow, Tom.

Now, what shall I play with?

My building blocks.

( grunting )

Careful, Spot.

Helen is here,.

Hello, Spot.

Blocks!

Are they your favorite?

Yes.

Let's see how high we can build them.

SPOT!

I think I better go.

Bye, Spot.

SALLY: Bathtime, Spot.

Good.

I can play with my boat.

It's my favorite toy.

( scatting )

( giggling )

SALLY: Spot,

After your bath,

put your toys away, and go to bed.

Have you put your toys away, Spot?

Yes.

All except Teddy.

He really is my favorite toy.

Good boy.

Sweet dreams.

Woof-Woof!

Who's eyes peek from the bushes?

Who is that in the tree?

Spot looks hard for the answers

He's in the woods

What does he see?

NARRATOR: It was another lovely day.

Spot.

Woof!

It's a lovely day.

Let's go for a walk in the woods.

Woof-Woof!

Are they're lions and tigers?

No.

( cawing )

Woof!

Are there any elephants or bears?

Of course not.

Lions, tigers, elephants, or bears.

It's very peaceful.

They are intresting smells.

Woof!

Woof-Woof!

Woof!

Oh! Ugh!

Good morning.

Are there any lions or tigers there?

Lots of them.

Woof-Woof!

Are there any elephants or bears in these woods?

Yes, there are.

And lions, and tigers.

Silly questions.

Hello.

Have you seen lions, tigers, elephants, or bears

around them?

Oh, yes.]

We tried with them everyday.

( Sam barks )

NARRATOR: They heard Sam approaching,

and ran back to the bushes.

Are you enjoying your walk?

Yes.

Can we go home now?

NARRATOR: Sam thought it was strange

that Spot wanted to return home so soon.

But still, it was nearly lunchtime.

On the way back,

Spot kept a sharp lookout,

and stayed very close to his dad.

But he didn't see a lion, tiger, elephant, or bear.

They are probably somewhere else in the woods.

Woof-Woof!
