Today we will make butter.
Butter is prepared with numerous ways like whisking curd,malai or cream.
In today's date kids cont like eating malai or cream so remove all malai from the milk and store it in refrigerator.
Malai can be stored in refrigerator for 3-4 days only but it can be stored in freezer for upto 2 months.
For making butter we require 1 big bowl.
If you get theis much quantity in 2-3 days then make butter from it or store it in freezer for 10-15 days until you get the desired amount.
Today we will make butter from homemade malai.
We stored malai in refrigerator only.
Before bringing refrigerated malai in use take it out 5-6 hours before.
So let's start with the procedure of making butter.
Take food processor and use its bigger jar for making butter.
This blade is used for kneading dough as well.
Place cream or malai in the jar.
Now add ½ cup water into it.
With in 2 minutes the butter is ready.
Butter is separated.
To make butter more hard so that the moisture gets dissolved add ice water into it.
There is no need to add cold water in butter during winters.
Sometimes during winters we have to use warm water so that butter comes out nicely from milk.
Add cold water during winters and stir it again in mixture at medium speed.
Butter is ready; now take it out in a separate bowl with help of spoon.
If you have normal mixture then in similar manner add malai in its bigger jar and in similar way make butter.
The milk stalk can be used for making curd which can be used it in vegetable or raita.
Add curd in malai once it's melted and let it freeze for 4-5 hours more and then bring in use for making butter.
Butter is ready. It can be stored in refrigerator for 4-5 days only as homemade butter is full of moisture.
Butter brought from market is very hard, has less moisture, is salty and consist of artificial color.
The homemade butter is in pure form that cannot be stored for 10-15 days.
