HI, I'M ART WITH PUBLIX APRONS SIMPLE MEALS.
TODAY'S RECIPE IS PORK WITH LEMON DILL SAUCE
AND CHEDDAR CHAMP.
YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE THIS FRESH TAKE ON PORK TENDERLOIN,
ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU PAIR IT WITH THIS
MELT-IN-YOUR-MOUTH SIDE DISH.
SO FIRST, WE NEED TO CUT THE PORK INTO EQUAL
PIECES, THEN WRAP A SLICE OF BACON AROUND EACH ONE.
YOU CAN SECURE THE ENDS WITH TOOTHPICKS IF YOU NEED TO.
PLACE PORK ON A BAKING DISH, THEN SEASON WITH
SALT AND PEPPER.
TOP EACH WITH A TABLESPOON OR SO OF LEMON DILL SAUCE,
AND BAKE FOR 15 TO 20 MINUTES.
WHILE THAT'S BAKING, WE'LL MAKE THE CHEDDAR CHAMP.
I'VE SHREDDED AGED WHITE CHEDDAR AND SLICED THE
WHITE PORTION OF THE LEEKS.
NOW WE'LL COMBINE THE LEEKS, MILK, COOKING CREAM,
GARLIC HERB BUTTER, SALT, PEPPER AND
NUTMEG IN A SAUCEPAN, AND COOK UNTIL THE LEEKS SOFTEN.
THEN STIR HOT MASHED POTATOES
AND CHEESE INTO THE LEEK MIXTURE.
THIS SIDE MIGHT BE MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE.
TOP THE PORK WITH THE REMAINING DILL SAUCE,
AND DINNER IS SERVED.
