WELCOME TO ALL HANDS UPDATE. I'M PETTY OFFICER AMARA TIMBERLAKE WITH YOUR HEADLINES FROM
AROUND THE FLEET.
THE NAVY ESTABLISHED NAVY EXPEDITIONARY COMBAT COMMAND PACIFIC OCTOBER 1ST. THE NEW COMMAND,
LOCATED AT JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, HAWAII, WILL PROVIDE ADMINISTRATIVE CONTROL
FOR MORE THAN 10,600 SEABEES, EOD OPERATORS, COASTAL REVERIES, AND SUPPORT STAFF.
OCTOBER IS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CUTS ACROSS ALL AGE GROUPS
AND SOCIAL CLASSES. IT HAPPENS TO SAILORS AS WELL AS SPOUSES AND IT AFFECTS BOTH MEN
AND WOMEN. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CAN ALSO GO BEYOND PHYSICAL ABUSE. IF YOU THINK YOU MAY BE A
