Poha Recipe - Flattened Rice Recipe

Today we will make poha.
Poha is easily available in every shop of bhopal and indore early morning.
People living in these cities love eating poha and jalebi alot.
Let's see what all ingredeints are required for making poha.
Poha - 2.5 cup (250 grams approx)
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Black mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Green chilly - 1-2 (finely chopped)
Curry leaves - 6-7 leaves
Salt - as per taste (3/4 tsp)
Sugar- 1/4 tsp
Raisins - 1 tbsp
Sev - 2-3 tbsp
Green coriander - 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Lemon - 1 (cut into small pieces)
Green peas - 1 tbsp
Firstly soak poha.
For this take poha in a sieve and put in under running tap for just few seconds or
dip it in water like this and take it out immediately.
Take poha in a sieve and water in a big bowl.
Now dip the sieve in water and immediatley drain the water like this.
Now take out poha in a plate and leave it open in air after mixing salt and sugar.
Add salt and sugar in poha and mix really well.
Leave it as it is for 10 minutes so that it becomes puffy and gets dry.
Poha has become puffy; now let's make it.
Preheat kadai and add 1 tbsp oil into it.
When oil gets heated add black mustard seeds and 6-8 curry leaves.
Now add turmeric powder,green chilies
and peas. Cook until peas become cripsy.
Now add poha into it.
Poha is prepared instantly with ease.
Mix all ingredeints nicely and poha will be ready.
Mix for 2 minutes until poha gets coated with the spices nicely.
Now add raisins and green coriander leaves. Poha is ready.
Awesome and delicious poha is ready.
Garnish with coriander leaves and sev.
Place one lemon piece on the plate like this.
Poha is ready for serving.
