ALPHACAT: I am really excited to be here right now.
I've been waiting on this day for a while, and the
anticipation of finding out who I'm dancing with is
killing me.
I watched the whole last season so I
don't know who to expect.
But I'm just hoping it's fun, I'm hoping it's high energy.
And I'm ready to go.
Oh snap.
LAUREN FRODERMAN: Hi.
ALPHACAT: What's up?
LAUREN FRODERMAN: Hey, hey.
ALPHACAT: How you doing?
LAUREN FRODERMAN: Hey.
ALPHACAT: Yes.
LAUREN FRODERMAN: So nice to meet you.
ALPHACAT: You too.
LAUREN FRODERMAN: I'm watching Alphacat dance, and I don't
know how or where this guy came from.
He has to have been a dancer in a past
life, if not this life.
My name is Lauren.
ALPHACAT: I know who you are.
I was actually kind of hoping it was her.
I was a big fan of her's back when she was on "So You Think
You Can Dance." She's so awesome.
I'm so excited I have you.
LAUREN FRODERMAN: Oh my gosh, you're adorable.
Alphacat starts literally just dancing, already dancing.
Oh my gosh, look at those moves.
Already, you just-- we're good.
See you at the competition.
ALPHACAT: I used to be a dancer back in the day.
LAUREN FRODERMAN: Did you really?
OK, I was curious about that.
ALPHACAT: We can step it up a notch.
LAUREN FRODERMAN: OK, good.
I've been blessed with a gift.
This is what I was thinking about the dance.
You have your Obama impersonation that you're
pretty well known for, like that's your main thing.
Yeah?
ALPHACAT: Yeah.
LAUREN FRODERMAN: OK.
So Obama, he wears suits.
He's a sophisticated, classy guy.
So I think we're going to give a little sophisticated routine
for our audience.
Yes, exactly, exactly.
So you'll have look one, two, three, good four.
On and five, you're going to give me a step towards me.
Right, left.
Exactly, powerful man chest out.
ALPHACAT: Yeah.
Yeah, got my chest out.
LAUREN FRODERMAN: Exactly.
And five.
On six, your hand goes up my leg.
I shaved, don't worry.
Your hand goes six, seven.
ALPHACAT: I'm not doing this.
I'm going up, right?
LAUREN FRODERMAN: Yeah.
So, OK, you're the girl for a second.
I didn't shave.
LAUREN FRODERMAN: It's always so much fun, especially as a
teacher to have a student who's excited to learn.
Because it reminds you why you love teaching in the first
place, and what makes this so special is the fact that he's
excited about dancing, makes me really excited about
teaching him the dance.
And out to the leg, seven, eight.
Oh my freaking gosh, yes.
Perfect.
Don't give me that grimace, you did perfect.
I get physical when I get really excited, so don't be
scared if I'm like--
ALPHACAT: Next part of the routine, you hit me and I
google into it like a hinge.
LAUREN FRODERMAN: Exactly.
Or like--
I think that I can really stretch him mentally and
physically, and just make him have the absolute, best, most
amazing, popping routine yet.
You jump towards me, and then I turn and grab your shoulder.
You do nothing.
Then you take, what is this, lefty?
And place it on my hip.
And then I'm going to put my heel down and butt out.
And we're both going to look at the booty.
Good.
Pop, pop.
In.
Hold and a jump.
Hip, booty, round.
You know, we're kind of goofing off a lot, and having
a lot of fun, which is always a good stress reliever, and
little ice breaker moments.
That might be one thing for us that's tough, is focusing our
energies because right now we're both really, really
hyper and excited.
Oh my gosh, this is so awesome!

You're making my job so easy.
Yes.
Fun, yes, let's tap dance.
Oh god, oh god.
Hey, liar.
That was it!
Oh yeah.

Yes.
ALPHACAT: There's things that I can tell I need to patch up.
And I need to--
I can see where I'm going to need iron some things out.
I'm a beast.
I'm in attack mode.
LAUREN FRODERMAN: I am so excited about this
partnership, it's not even funny.
I said in rehearsal, the other people should just go home,
because I really think we have this.
I'm just so excited to be working with you.
ALPHACAT: Me too.
LAUREN FRODERMAN: This is going to be so great.
I don't even care that you're sweaty.
I don't care.
ALPHACAT: Sweaty hug.
LAUREN FRODERMAN: I'm just so happy.
Thank you so much.
ALPHACAT: Me too, me too, seriously.
LAUREN FRODERMAN: Get ready to kick some major butt.
ALPHACAT: I will, I will.
Thank you so much.
LAUREN FRODERMAN: Thank you.
OK, let's get out of here.
ALPHACAT: No, I'm not worried that we didn't cover too much
choreography today because I know that we were just--
even though we didn't cover a lot, we were still moving
pretty fast.
I memorize choreography fairly well, at a good pace.
And she's ready to move.
So I think once we go into our next rehearsal, we'll just get
through it and just iron it out.
Just be ready to kill.
