Transcript:
Harrison: I feel that sea turtle energy a lot in my life. A lot.
Harrison: And, uh....
Harrison: It's hard to describe. It's hard to describe.
Brenda: No one...
Brenda:...likes to say this about their own son, but Harrison is a loser.
Harrison: A vision arrived...in meditation...
Harrison: ...of this film. The visions included sea turtles...
Harrison: ...swordplay, big trees, big big trees...
Harrison: ...and lovemaking, really passionate lovemaking.
Harrison: Those visions were the first step of a six year process.
Vicki: You know, Harrison...
Vicki: He's just got that something.
Vicki: That "IT" that so many of us are missing.
Vicki: The creativity. The bravery, really. The honesty...
Vicki: And not to be weird, but the sexuality.
Vicki: Harrison is bisexual and he has this un-afraidness of his sexuality.
Drew: You know how in any group...
Drew: ...there's always one person where you're like, "How the hell did that...
Drew: ...IDIOT get here? In our film program, back at Glendale
Drew: Art Academy, that person was Harrison. [Ricky scoffs]
Ricky: I said to him, "Face it, Harrison...
Ricky: ...you have no talent. You're never gonna be a Hollywood
Ricky: ...director-writer-actor-producer-whatever," but he wouldn't listen to me.
Ricky: So I dumped him.
Harrison: In terms of the whole Ricky thing, I just, I go very deep deep down...
Harrison: ...as an artist. And for me, you know, Ricky - he was the Jesus -
Harrison: He was the Jesus and you know sort of like method acting, I just....
Harrision: ...went there, except it was like...
Harrison: ...method directing or whatever, and that was probably a line I should not have crossed.
Wanda: Harrison? Harrison DeWinter.
Wanda: I have no doubt in my mind that....
Wanda: ...he's going to reach his full potential.
Wanda: And that full potential is nothing short of pure genius.
Harrison: My friends, we're almost ready.
Harrison: We have a great script. We have a great vision for that script.
Harrison: Which is what directing is all about. Drew: So, yeah, uh....
Drew: From what I understand, Harrison is attempting to make a film now.
Drew: Which I stress the word attempting. I mean...
Drew: He has no idea how to tell a story.
Drew: I mean you can tell from the title, it doesn't make sense.
Ricky: Abanonding Our Hopes. [Ricky scoffs again] Abandoning Our Hopes?
Ricky: I mean, really now. So before I dumped him....
Ricky:...he showed me a draft. It's like, what the hell is the Tree of Gargantuan?
Ricky: And what does that have to with a threesome relationship...and the environment...
Ricky: ...and gay rights and some random mountain. It's ridiculous.
Wanda: What's the story?
Vicki: The Story? Uh..
Harrison: You know, and some people are like, uh,
Harrison: 'What's the story?' You know?
Harrison: And I'm like, I'm like, 'Read the Script, man.
Harrison: 'You know, read the script.' But the people who do get it....
Harrison: They really get it. [Vicki struggles] Vicki: Um...
Harrison: Like Vicki, she gets it. Wanda gets it.
Harrison: And our cast and our crew and our audience....
Harrison: ...they are gonna get it.
Harrison: And that's what's important to me.
Scott: Your name?
Bobby: Bobby Tulane. Scott: Louder, please.
Bobby: Bobby Tulane! Vicki: The story, the story, hmmm...
Vicki: Um...you know...
Vicki: ...it is very powerful. [Vicki laughs uncomfortably] I, uh,
Vicki: I don't really know how to describe it.
Wanda: I'd call it a love story.
Wanda: And a helping out the environment movie.
Wanda: With some twists thrown in there. Uh, yeah, yeah! That's what I'd call it!
Harrison: Why are you here, Bobby? Vicki: Harrison...
Wanda: With some twists thrown in there. Uh, yeah, yeah! That's what I'd call it!
Harrirson: Why are you here, Bobby? Vicki: Harrison....
Vicki: We're just so backed up. We just don't have time.
Bobby: I'm here to read for Patrick...and...
Bobby: ...you know, I love the script.
Bobby: Really.
Bobby: I love it.
Vicki: There's a woman. And, uh, she has...
Vicki: ...two men in her life and, um,
Vicki: ...you know, basically, basically,
Vicki: ...she represents the environment and, um, you know what we're doing to it.
Harrison: If you don't get it, too f'ing bad! You know read it and weep when it's the Cineplex on like 2,000 screens!
