Bell Pepper Marmalade Recipes - Sweet Capsicum Jam recipe

Today we will make bell pepper marmalade.
Marmalade made with green, red and yellow dell pepper looks good and also taste good.
You and your kids will surely love eating this dish.
Let's see what ingredients are required for making marmalade with bell pepper.
Bell pepper - 3 (1 yellow, 1 red, 1 green) (400 grams)
Lemon - 2
We need 2 tbsp lemon juice and we can also use vinegar instead of lemon juice.
Black pepper powder - less then ¼ tsp (optional)
Sugar - 259 gram (1.15 cup)
For making marmalade roast the bell peppers.
Place a net wire net on stove so that bell pepper can be placed easily on top of it.
Reduce the flame to minimum and keep revolving the sides when cooked.
Bell peppers are now roasted; take them off the flame.
Turn off the gas.
Now remove the black skin of these bell peppers.
Take a cloth and rub the black skin nicely.
By roasting bell pepper it gets very nice flavor.
Use knife or cloth do that the black skin gets removed completely.
Like wise clean the yellow and green bell pepper.
Wash them once again so that the remaining skin also gets removed.
Cut quarter bell pepper into thin pieces and grind ¾ part.
Remove the seeds and stalk.
Cut them in big pieces as we have to grind them.
Cut rest half part into thin slices.
Grind these pieces to make a fine paste.
Now we will make marmalade.
Place the bel pepperl paste in pan.
Don't grind them finely. Keep them coarsely.
Turn on the gas.
Also add thinly sliced pieces.
Add sugar along with the pieces.
Stir it after every 2 minutes.
Cook until it gets thick consistency.
Before squeezing the lemon for juice take out zest from it and add into the marmalade.
With a piller remove the skin of lemon like this.
Take zest from 1 lemon and add it into marmalade.
Now take out juice from lemons.
Add black pepper powder and lemon zest in marmalade.
Cook until it gets thick consistency.
Check the consistency. It should form thread like this.Turn off the gas.
Marmalade is ready; take it off the flame and place on wire net.
Add lemon juice when it gets cooled completely.
Bell pepper marmalade is ready.
Layer it on bread slices, burger or serve with parantha.
Store marmalade in any glass container
Before storing bell pepper in any container wash it with hot water and dry under sunlight.
It can be stored for up to 6 months.
