$80k was the total raised
for Tame Iti and Te Rangikaiwhiria Kemara at their art auction
held in Auckland last night.
Expectations exceeded the $50,000 benchmark expected by Tame Iti.
The money raised will be used
to fund Iti and Kemara's appeal process later this month.
Actor Manu Bennett bought art to the value of $22,000.
At the end of the month,
details relating to Iti and Kemara appeal will be released.
