Are you okay?
Well. When you said you’d give me a ride,
I didn’t expect that you'd--aaaahh!
Sorry about that! I had to dodge that storm cloud there.
I guess this is my thank you for driving me home the other night.
Since uh, when did you fly planes again?
Since last week.
What?!
What? I'ts just like driving a car...
...in the air.
Just get us home in one piece, okay?
Ro: Commander Gatsby. Gatsby: Agent Lynx, Code Black.
Someone has- Wait, who the
hell is that?
Ro: Don't worry, he's clean. Gatsby: Someone's hacked into our servers.
Whoever it is has access to everything:
passwords,
access codes, the location of our alpha base, and most importantly,
...our identities.
The only thing they don't know is that we know we've been hacked.
Find out who did this and-
Hit them hard and hit them fast.
This mission is off the record. Good luck, Captain.
I'm sorry Reggie, but it looks like I'm going to have to drop you off here.
What! What about the show?
I knew this would happen sooner or later so I set up a projector,
a hologram projector, in the studio
so I can just host remotely.
Okay, okay, okay, wait
Why'd he call you a captain when you're driving a plane?
See you later, Reggie. Oh, and
don't forget, you
have to count to five
before you pull on your parachute.
What?! Wait, wait, wait,
N-n-n-n-n-noooooooooooo!
You guys won't believe what just happened.
It took me a few takes to get used to hosting all alone in the studio. I feel like
I'm talking to myself.
I'm still not really comfy with it. I don't know how this is going to work, honestly.
I mean, who does that?
throwing their co-host off a plane?
I just can't handle ejection.
Late into the night, sitting in front of your computer, don't you ever feel like
sometimes, someone is staring at you from behind your back?
I know, right?
People simply cannot take their eyes off of me.
I try to shoo them away, and like, "People, please"
I meant, I was going to transition into the whole spying on the bad guys who are trying
to destroy the world sort of thing.
Right.
I meant spying, on you.
Exactly.
Uhh, whatever. The guy is Reggie.
And she's Ro.
And this is Usergames TV!
Join us this week as we infiltrate the exciting world of Navy Moves.
Last time on Usergames TV,
We featured the beautiful new role-playing slash tower defense game Tower Worlds,
updated viewers on the latest news in the world of Cabal
and unveiled the now playable arcade action game Navy Moves, and screened the top
entry into our Win a Macbook Pro Contest so far. Finally,
we have revealed a new contest where viewers can win up to three
iPad 3s by finding six words hidden within the episode.
Woah
Is that you, Ro?
It is,
live from where I've just landed my jet, BUT,
I can't tell you where.
Does that mean I could, uh,
Hey!
In this episode, we're going to feature Games Masters' NAVY MOVES
as our Game of the Week.
as well as a sneak preview on Korea's biggest gaming expo:
G-Star 2012,
as our News and Updates.
Once again, we're going to be screening the latest top entry into
our Win a Macbook Pro contest to help you gather more likes.
And finally,-and I'm sure the moment you've all been waiting for-
we're gonna draw three lucky winners for our iPad 3 contest which we began last episode.
So, if you followed the additional contest mechanics like
liking our page on Facebook, following us on Twitter,
and arranging the six words in the correct order, well then you just might
be one of the lucky winners of an iPad 3.
Oooh, let me try that.
Please like my personal website

You can't use the Force for your own personal gain, Reggie.
Fiiiine.
Well, I'm excited!
Let's start!
On the only show that has hosts named Reggie and Ro-
Clever.
Reggie: USERGAMES Ro: TV!
Opening billboard!
Looks pretty cold over there.
It's a small price to pay.
A-huh.
Well anyhow,
on this episode, we're going to check out the goings-on in this year's G-Star
which is Korea's biggest gaming convention

Boasting more than three hundred thousand visitors each year,
I guess it's safe to say that G-Star is
Gamescom's Asian counterpart.
This widely popular gaming expo
started out in 2005
and organized by the Korean Ministry of Culture.
Recently though, we've heard, that they're looking for
NGOs to organize this year's chapter.
We're sending Reggie over there to find out what the event organizers have to say about it.
G-Star here we come. I got my map, wooh!
Does anyone know where Busan is?
You know what that means... G-Star, woo-hooooo!
Well, that's all we have time for, for today, for News
There she is, get her!
How did they find me? Later Gibby!
Ro just keeps disappearing from the studio all the time.
It's distracting. I mean,
imagine doing a show. We have to wait for your co-host to do whatever she has
to finish doing,
before you can do one single take. Oh, and there's one more thing.
Why does she have to be all blue and wavy? What's up with that?
I just can't do a show with a...
...with a ghost.
What? How can anyone not know what a hologram is?
I'm obviously a hologram.
I'm not a ghost.
We're ready for you!
Ro!
Not so loud! The commlink is right in my ear.
Oh no, I'm fine, thank you.
We're going to have to move to another place to talk. Wait a second.
He knew I was on a mission.
I think he did that on purpose.
Ahh, I don't think she's really in a mission.
I don't even think she's really a spy.
I mean, what kind of spy has a Facebook account?
Does Jason Bourne have a Facebook account?
She's just trying to look good.
I mean, that's the nature of the showbiz, the biz.
That's why we're called co-hosts.
Co.
Hosts.
Competition.
Hosts.
I can juggle.
I can be a host and be doing my spy thing at the same time.
Was it unprofessional?
I don't think so.
I'm sure that
all of us have something that we like to do on the side that makes
us,
all of us, unique and beautiful creatures, thank you.
Wait, what was the question again?
Gibby!
In this part of the show, we're also going to feature yet
another exciting new addition to Games-Masters' roster of MMOs.
If you're looking for some old-school arcade-style action,
an engaging and cinematic storyline,
and some intense online
competition,
then look no further 'cause it's Navy Moves
Reggie!
Navy Moves is a remake of the arcade action game of the same name
originally created by Spanish developers Dinamic Software in the late 80s.
Games-Masters, along with FX Interactive, has resurrected the game
into a modern 3D environment.
Newcomers start out with a graphic novel- style loading screen which reveals a bit
about the story before throwing the players right into the action.
The premise is this: a nuclear submarine has appeared off the coast of an island
called Nuru-Haua, and three agents are sent off to find out exactly who is
behind this, and what
they are doing.
Just as the loading screen finishes,
you'll find yourself on a jet boat, right in the middle of an introductory
mission which will pretty much explain how the game works.
The game is gifted with a pretty easy learning curve
following the arcade-style tradition of having simple controls
so that gamers can easily familiarize themselves and get into to the game.
The arrow keys are used for movement.
The Spacebar mostly fires your weapon, and the Ctrl key does the rest:
from evading enemy missiles,
jumping over holes and mines, and in situations where you control the
characters themselves, lets you interact with the environment.
Don't be fooled by the game's simplicity though, as the game's website says:
Navy Moves
is easy to learn but a challenge to master.
After that hectic first mission, take a break.
You'll be relieved to be greeted by the Main Menu where you can access several features
such as Online Gameplay, Game Settings, Communities, Player Chat, and Access
Missions, which are now called Episodes. Keep playing the game and eventually,
you'll gain experience and rise up in rank, which is the game's level-up system.
Now, this will reward you with Keys that will help you unlock even more
Episodes and other goodies that will help you win Competitions when you play
online.
Depending on the episode,
players will take control of either the daredevilish Major Mac, the multi-
talented femme fatale Captain Dane, or the gruff
silver-haired veteran Commander Sky, through twelve adrenaline-pumping
missions.
The gameplay is fast,
and the action is furious.
You'll be assisted towards your objective by a very helpful minimap on
the lower right of your screen,
which also reveals the location of your enemies and other things to look out for.
A commlink also allows your commanders to assist you during your mission
who help by giving you advice on where to go and what to do.
They also warn you of incoming dangers and most importantly, give tips on how to
defeat certain enemies.
The commlink also provides a certain degree of realism and added enjoyability
to the game as they start to praise you when you take down your enemies,
and share your pain with you if you are hit and taking damage.
The reactions are sometimes quite comic to hear,
and you might get the urge to let yourself get eaten by a shark or even jump
off a cliff, just to see what they'd say next. Navy Moves pits you against all
kinds of enemies: from trigger-happy cyborgs and deadly-accurate aircrafts,
to bloodthirsty sharks and colossal creatures of the deep.
Each type of enemy requires a certain strategy to defeat,
so fans of the action genre will surely be challenged and kept on their toes.
Not to worry though, as each episode contains numerous checkpoints ensuring that you
don't have to repeat an entire episode if you fail.
In line with its arcade action origins, the game tallies your performance through a
scoreboard each and every time you hit a checkpoint.
The grand total of these checkpoints will determine your high score
There are also various medals you can win per episode by completing certain
requirements.
For example, the Life Hero medal is awarded to a player who reaches a
checkpoint with a complete life bar.
Don't let life get you down though, as there are a lot of ways to boost up your
gameplay.
To ease things up a bit,
anytime within the episode, you can hit the Esc button to pause the game and bring
up the in-game Store,
where you can purchase Power-Ups that turn you into an instant action hero.
There are all kinds of Power-Ups: from increasing the damage of your weapon to total
invulnerability.
Choose wisely though, as Power-Ups cost Navy Points.
Just visit the Store from the Main Menu to find out how to recharge them.
Navy Moves is both a movie and a game that is both free to watch, and free
to play.
From the Menu screen, you can access the Movie Missions mode
which are basically clips of the movie that you can unlock and play.
Unlike the episodes played on the arcade machines,
movie missions don't have checkpoints and don't score your performance either.
Play as recklessly as you want as long as you survive the entire episode
to get a glimpse into the story of Navy Moves.
While you can't win any medals for completing episodes in movie missions,
it does reward you with the satisfaction of getting to know the characters
a little better,
and seeing the story unfold behind all the action.
If that isn't enough,
it also rewards you with experience to help you rise up in the rank as well.
Once you've finished a couple of episodes and have risen up in your rank a bit,
you might be interested in creating your own Clan and competing online.
The Main Menu has four options for this:
Play Online,
Competitions,
Tournaments, and Duels.
Let's start with the Clan system.
Online gamers will be familiar with the clan system of massively multiplayer
online games.
If you aren't familiar, think of a Clan group as a group of friends who grow
stronger as each member of the Clan plays the game and plays the game well.
You can create Clans once you reach the Commander rank at the cost of Navy Moves
Points.
Clans can engage in Clans, challenging them and by defeating them,
gaining large Bonuses as a group. Clans can win Items into their Clan Pot to be
shared between members.
They can win these Items every time the Clan wins in weekly Competitions.
The Clan Chief and Deputies can share the Items with other members.
Also, team leaders can hand out their own Items into the Pot
to players who need them more than they do.
In Competitions, you'll find a list of competitions, their sponsors, and prizes.
On the other hand, Tournaments are group competitions that either you can create,
or simply participate in, in one already created by other players in each episode;
the goal being to be the top scorer out of all those who joined.
The more players there are who joined the Tournament,
the more Navy Points the champion stands a chance to win.
When playing online, you can challenge players to the high score in any episode,
or an episode of your choosing.
You will need Navy Points to put up a challenge in the first place,
and depending on the amount of points you spend, you can decide whether your
challenge stays online
from two hours, two days, or even an entire week.
You can also use Match-Up Items to hold these kinds of competitions.
Match-Up Items can be bought in the Store or won by playing episodes.
In Competitions, you'll find a list of competitions, their sponsors, and prizes.
On the other hand, Tournaments are group competitions that either you can create,
or simply participate in
in one already created by other players in each episode.
The goal being to be the top scorer out of all those who joined.
The more players there are who joined the Tournament,
the more Navy Points the champion stands a chance to win.
Finally,
a Duel is a direct challenge with another player,
a one-on-one competition where the winner is rewarded with Navy Points.
You can even duel people who aren't playing the game yet, winning you
Navy Points if they accept your invitation.
Speaking of Duels, I think my enemy has just entered the room.
Oh Mr Snake.
Nice to see you again.
Well, looks like I can't help her with her mission.
But I can help you with yours, with a few tips and tricks. Dying is no problem in Navy Moves
as long as you can reach the checkpoints.
However, the game scores you depending on how much life you've got left when
you've reached those checkpoints.
One obvious trick is to heal yourself right before you reach the checkpoint to gain
the maximum point bonus.
Tip number two:
having difficulty with Cyborgs?
Not a problem.
Note that there's a voice in your commlink suggesting that you get in close to deal
more damage with your weapon. Unfortunately, that leaves you out in the
open as well.
All you have to do is take cover by using your environment to your advantage
and let them come to you.
This way, you can take them on one by one,
deal some devastating headshots and at the same time,
receive zero damage.
Third tip is to turn your audio on and develop a feel for the rhythms within
the game.
Sound mystical? It kinda is.
The sound effects in the game are so spot-on that you could actually use them
as cues as to when to evade and when to fire.
Combine that with the battle music, and you've got the recipe for a high score.
There are exceptions to the rule though.
For example, in the Jet Fighter mission, it's much better to
evade missiles as soon as you see them,
because the only accurate sound they'll make is when they do you damage.
Lastly,
on the subject of a high score, pay attention to when enemies appear on the
screen.
You don't have to wipe everyone out as soon as you see them;
if you learn to gather enemies and switch targets,
you can take them all out in sequence for Combos and Super Combos.
Mission over yet?
Almost.
With responsive controls,
an engaging plot and beautifully rendered graphics with soundtrack to match.
With all its features, Navy Moves is undoubtedly
one of the most impressive action games to hit your browser, delivering an explosive
and addictive online gaming experience that both fans and veterans of the action-
adventure genre will not want to miss.
Now I have to admit,
that was pretty cool.
I wish I could do that.
Hey, so it's me again. Okay,
so, I told her, why didn't you enroll in the University of Reggie,
so I can make you graduate cum laude, hahaha!
I knew that they weren't tracing my number, so I knew that they were tracing yours, I mean,
it explains why every single time I had to do a segment, the triads were able to pinpoint my
exact location. (Reggie: That's my phone!) Don't worry though, because they can't
trace you now! Let's just say that I put more bullets in them, than a bulletin board.
Hahaha!
Hahaha!
Well, last week on the show, we showed you the latest top entry on our Cabal music video
contest to win a Macbook Pro.

Pretty good show today, right?
Yeah, it's not bad.
Isn't it funny how the lifts in this building never work?
Yeah, but it's alright. I get more exercise.
Right. You should probably get more exercise...
