biggest mistakes people make when trying to get six pack abs or a flat stomach. As ridiculous
as this may sound, the biggest mistake is wasting too much time performing ab exercises.
The sad truth is, spending the majority of your time with hundreds of reps of various
crunches, leg lifts, various twists, and other abdominal exercises, won’t burn your belly
So even if all those ab exercises were effective in making your abs stronger, your sixpack
would still be hidden under a layer of stomach fat. Here’s why: ab exercises don’t trigger
much of a metabolic or fat burning hormonal response. Instead, it’s more important to
focus on exercises that engage your entire body. For example, exercises like Squats,
Deadlifts, Push-Up, Pull-Ups, and Clean and Presses, actually help sculpt better looking
six pack abs than just doing ab exercises. This is because these exercises stimulate
a much more powerful metabolic response in your body. They also increase your fat burning
hormone levels, which has a direct result on burning belly fat.
Don’t get me wrong though, it is important to do ab exercises occasionally. However,
if your main workout routine focuses on the right fat-burning exercises, you’ll only
need to do abdominal exercises once or twice a week for about 4-8 minutes each session.
That’s it. If it sounds like too little, please keep in mind that the key to a flat
stomach and ripped abs isn’t getting your abdominal muscles bigger and stronger. The
