We all love eating stuffed paranthas and are prepared with many ways.
Today we will make cheese stuffed parantha or pizza parantha.
Let’s see what all ingredients are required for making pizza parantha.
Maida- 2 cup
Salt - ½ tsp
Sugar - 1 tsp
Dry active yeast - 1 tsp
Oil - 4 tbsp
These are required for making pizza parantha.
For stuffing:
Mozzarella cheese - 50 grams
Green coriander - 2 tbsp (finely chopped)

Babycorn - 2-3
Capsicum - 1
Black pepper - less then ¼ tsp
Salt - ¼ tsp (as per taste)
Ginger - ½ inch piece (grated) or (paste)
Green chilly - 1 (finely chopped)
If making parantha for kids then avoid using green chilly as they may not like eating it.
Knead dough firstly for making pizza parantha.
Add yeast (no need to active it in lukewarm water), salt, sugar and 2 tbsp oil in flour.
Mix all ingredients really well.
Knead flour with help of lukewarm water to make soft dough like that used for making chapatti.
Add little water at a time to knead the dough.
Keep kneading like for 5-6 minutes until it becomes soft and even.
Grease hands with some oil and keep kneading the dough.
Dough is now ready.
For kneading this much quantity of water we have used ¾ cup of water.
Spread some oil on top of dough.
Cover it and keep it aside for 2 hours so that it becomes puffy.
Dough is ready; now we will start making pizza parantha.
Slice all vegetable.
Cut cabbage into fine pieces like this.
Cut capsicum and remove stalk and seeds.
Finely chop Babycorn as well.
Slit from centre and cut finely like this.
Grate the mozzarella cheese and mix in vegetables.
Add green coriander, black pepper, salt, green chilly and ginger in chopped vegetables.
Mix all ingredients really well.
Stuffing is ready.
Again knead the dough with your hands.
Dust your hands with dry flour and divide into two equal parts.
Take one part, roll in nicely and dust with dry flour.
Roll into a circle with 5-6 inch diameter.
Now place half the amount of vegetables on the top of it.
Seal from all sides like this.
Dust with dry flour again and keep it aside for 10 minutes more so that it becomes puffy again.
Keep both the parts aside for 10 minutes more.
Firstly flatten the stuffed ball with your hands so that vegetables spread around evenly.
Now with help of rolling pin roll the parantha.
Keep it ¾ cm thick.
Preheat a tawa and spread some oil on it.
Now place the rolled parantha on it.
Cook on low flame for 2-2.30 minutes from one side and then flip sides.
Spread some oil on the upper surface and turn over the sides.
Also spread some oil on the lower side as well.
Cook the other side on low flame only until it gets brown spots like this.
Parantha has doubled in size and appears to be spongy.
Other side has become brown as well; cook for some more time.
Parantha is ready; now take it of flame.
Cut the parantha and serve it.
Pizza parantha is ready.
It is crispy from both sides and soft like bread from inside.
Serve with green coriander chutney or tomato sauce.
Pack them in lunch boxes of kids they will enjoy eating it.
We have used maida for making pizza parantha but it can also be prepared with wheat flour too.
