I’m Gabriel Medina, a health educator at the Texas Diabetes Institute, in San Antonio
and an instructor for Youth in Motion.
Child obesity is a growing problem in our community. With the electronic age, parents
are finding it harder and harder to keep their kids active and healthy. That’s why the
Texas Diabetes Institute created the Youth in Motion program, an interactive and fun
class to get kids moving.
Our program promotes wellness for children by teaching them the importance of being healthy
and reaching personal goals at an early age.
Our activities include aerobic exercise, balloon volleyball, dancing, jumping rope and sports.
Sign your child up today by calling (210)-358-7355.
