Hi, it’s Steve from PartSelect. Today we’re going to show you how to change the upper
rack wheel assembly on your dishwasher. Really easy job, all we’re going to need is a 5/16ths
nut driver. Let me show you how we do it.
Now to replace the rack wheel assembly on this dishwasher, the screws that hold it to
the tub are located on the outside of the tub so we’ll need to pull the dishwasher
out of the cabinet and depending on whether it’s the front set of rollers or the rear
set will dictate how far we have to pull it and we want to make sure we have enough electrical
line and enough water line to pull that dishwasher out.
Once we’ve done that we’ll next remove the rack stop. Depress the tab and lift that
up to remove that. Then remove the two 5/16ths screws that secure the roller assembly to
the tub. Break that part free of the tub. Slide it off the end of the rail. Discard
it. Make sure the rubber grommets are still intact.
Slide our new one into place, line it up straight and then we’ll reinstall the mounting screws.
Don’t tighten the screws until we have them both in place. Then tighten them both snuggly.
Next we’ll reinstall the rack stop. Again make sure that it locks into place. And our
repair is complete.
Told you it was an easy job. Thanks for watching, and good luck with your repair.
