Baby Corn & Green Peas Curry Recipe

Whenever you feel like eating instant and special dish then try making Babycorn matar curry.
Babycorn matar curry made with rich cashew nut and cream will be liked by you all.
Let's see what ingredients are required for making Babycorn matar curry.
Babycorn - 6-7
Frozen peas - ½ cup (you can also use fresh peas)
Fine paste of 2 tomatoes, 1 green chilly, ½ inch ginger piece and 1 tbsp cashew nuts
Oil - for making vegetable
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Cumin seeds - ¼ tsp
Green coriander - 1-2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Cream - ¼ cup
Coriander powder - ½ tsp
Salt - ½ tsp (as per taste)
Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
Red chilly powder - less then ¼ tsp
Garam masala - less the ¼ tsp
Take 2 tsp oil in a pan and place on flame for heating.
Meanwhile cut Babycorn into small pieces.
Remove the stalk and cut into ¼ cm thick pieces.
When oil gets hot; add peas and roast for 2 minutes.
Keep the peas crunchy and keep stirring constantly like this.
Now take them out in a bowl.
Add 2 tsp oil in pan again.
When oil gets hot; add Babycorn pieces and roast for 2-3 minutes.
Take them off flame as well.
Now make gravy for the vegetable.
Take 2 tbsp oil in a pan.
When oil gets hot add cumin seeds, asafoetida, turmeric powder and paste of tomato-cashew nuts-ginger-green chilly.
Cook until oil starts floating on surface of the masala.
Also add coriander powder and red chilly powder.
Stir after every 1-2 minutes.
Masala is now ready.
Add cream in masala now and roast for 1-2 minutes more.
Pour water in the pan accordingly.
We have used 1 cup of water.
Add salt, garam masala and green coriander leaves.
Also add fried Babycorn and green peas in the gravy.
Now cover the pan with lid and cook on medium flame for 5 minutes so that all spices get absorbed in Babycorn and peas.
Curry is ready; take it out in a bowl.
Turn off the gas.
Garnish with green coriander leaves.
Mouth drooling and awesome tasting babycorn curry is ready.
This much quantity can be served to 2-3 family members.
Serve with chapatti, parantha, naan or rice.
