Hi, this is Richard Buccola in New York City and on behalf of Expert Village, I am going
to show you how to make angel hair pasta primavera with shrimp. Okay, we are back. We have our
4 cloves of garlic we are going to use today. Very simple to get it out of the skin, point
to the knife in front of it, put it in the back end of knife, hit down on it and you
will see it comes right out of its shell. This little hard piece on the top where the
stem is, give that a cut and get rid of that and put it off to the side. Again, I will
do another one quick for you, in the shell, just going to put it in the back end of the
knife. I am giving it a punch. You will see it comes right out of the shell. And we are
going to take that little hard piece off. Now to chop this up, we are just going to,
like everything else, very carefully, we just cut this way first. Then we turn it sideways
and just make little cuts. And don't worry if it isn't the consistency the way you want
it because then you are going to use your chopping motion. Putting all your garlic here,
keeping the point of the knife in front, working the back up and down and back and forth and
chopping so you want it to be the size that you want it. So, again, chop up your 4 pieces
of garlic and when we come back, we will start with the onion. Lots of veggies in here today.
Very healthy, very fast. Prep time is probably about 15 to 20 minutes.
