Saddle up and put on your mx googles! Cause it's time for the Red Bull Romaniacs.
It's dirty it's hard and it makes grown man cry.
5 days of dirt, pain, exhaustion and sweat. Get ready and start your engine, it's the
Red Bull Romaniacs
I started having some problems with the bike
it kept shutting off full the power. I just pressed on for a while hopping it will go
away. It obviously got worse and worse. I just watched the other guys pass and eventually
Darryl and Riaan showed up. I saw Chris and I thought that's not possible.
Yesterday he had such a good lead from third place. We had a look at his bike and I made
a decision to help him. And Riaan offered to help me, by swopping
parts of the engine around parts of the electrical system. And the wouldn't take no for an answer.
That was amazing. He swopped a couple of pieces over and I kept going.
If I was in the position and it was turned, I'm sure he would have helped me too.
As long as I make it to the finish I'm gonna be happy today.
I'm starting to get really tired but I will survive this day and go to the finish
line without a problem.
I had a really bad night. I have to go now. See you later.
Another problem with the bike luckily it happened right next to the road by the service guys.
They came and bailed me out. Did many of the other guys pass you?
Yeah Paul, Graham and Jade been here
How is it in Romania?
Beautiful.
Romaniacs Number 1
The last section was very technical. Other sections are fast. I have a good day. I rode
sometimes with Paul. We had a lot of fun. Now I'm happy to be here in the finish.
It started of quiet easy. And everybody was so fast. Really rough on the going. Really
good fun. It was hard, it knocked the shit out of you.
I had an awesome day. I think I've never ridden so good in the Romaniacs before in a day.
Really nice. A little bit tricky. Perfect day.
Catch the guys as early as I can. And tack in behind. Behave myself. Get me and the
bike to the finish and not do anything stupid. Take you're time with the technical bits. Try not to burn out. That's
it really. I just want to go the one more, than sit on
a beach or something.
