This pilgrimage (Yatra) starts in New Delhi, continues along Nepal border and goes to Tibet in China
After two days of bus journey and 7 days of trekking, Tibet border will be reached
Altitudes of different places in the pilgrimage
Comparision of heights of Mt Everest, Gurla Mandhata, Mt Kailash with different places along the pilgrimage
Yatra candidates reached New Delhi on 13-Aug-2011 and stayed at Gujarati Samaj for pre-yatra formalities
Two 30 bed A/C dormitories were allotted for the Yatra candidates for pre-yatra stay
Medical tests started at Delhi Heart and Lung Institute (DHLI) on 14-Aug-2011
Yatra candidates with hospital staff who co-ordinated the health check-ups
15-Aug: Independence Day holiday
Every year due to holiday on August 15th, 14th batch people visit various places of interest around Delhi
