Hey everyone!
I'm Colleen Ballinger.
Welcome to my recap of America's Got Talent.
This episode is the first round of the quarter finals.
I have 12 acts to talk about, so I'll try to make it brief.
The Distinguished Men of Brass were up first.
And they were super fun-- great choreography.
They sounded great.
But they kind of reminded me of my high
school marching band.
And who wants to see that in Vegas?
The adorable 14-year-old singer was up next.
And I loved him.
He did a cover of "Titanium." I have I big crush on him.
If he was 10 years older, I'd be all about it.
But he's not.
So I just sound really creepy.
The comedy illusionists Jared and Raja were up next.
That's a mouthful.
They were great.
They did a good job.
But I think there's better talent.
And I wasn't super impressed.
Lil Starr came onstage next with so much attitude.
She was amazing.
She tapped her butt off.
She gave face the whole time.
She was super fierce.
There were sparkles everywhere.
I loved her.
She was so good.
Howie said she's the next Shirley Temple.
[CRICKETS CHIRPING]
It's like apples and oranges.
Todd Oliver was up next with his dog that he
turns into a puppet.
Who doesn't love talking dogs?
Scooby Doo, Goofy, Snoopy--
Snoopy doesn't talk.
Anyway, he was great.
Next was the American BMX Stunt Team.
They rode their bikes on ramps--
again.
It's the same old thing.
Meh.
Nikki Jensen was up next, and she serenaded us with her
beautiful voice.
She was good.
But I think she was better in past episodes.
What do you think?
The Scott Brothers were one of my favorites tonight.
They were amazing.
They came out and did some cartoon pop and locking.
Their choreography's great.
They're super entertaining.
I am all for hip hop robotic dancing.
I wish I could do it.
[TECHNO MUSIC]
But I can't.
787 Crew came out looking like robots, and they rocked it.
Ow!
They had awesome choreography.
They had cool costumes.
And they were super entertaining.
The judges didn't like them very much.
But I loved them, and that's all that matters.
[DING]
Shanice and Maurice, the father-daughter singing duo,
came out next.
She's beautiful, has an amazing voice, and they're so
cute together.
However, I thought it was a little creepy that they were
singing a love duet together, and
they're father and daughter.
Awkward!
David Garibaldi and his SMYKs ended the evening with their
amazing performance painting.
They combined art, dance, and music perfectly to make a very
entertaining act--
standing ovation from the judges.
Only four acts going on to the next round.
Who do you think it's gonna be?
All right, guys.
That's all I have for you today.
