Today we're going to take you on a tour
of a great one bedroom vacation rental
at West 119th Street and Lenox Avenue in Harlem,

This apartment is located
on the second floor of a house.
The house is secured with an intercom
and video phone system.
The apartment features wood floors
and interior brick walls.
As you enter, you'll find the living room,
the kitchen, the bathroom and the bedroom.
The living room is furnished with a
queen sized sofa bed and a coffee table.
It has a large window facing the street,
a ceiling fan and a dresser.
There is also a wooden shelf and a cabinet
tucked into the corner.
Facing the sofa, there is a wall mounted

throughout the apartment.
Off the living room, you'll find the open kitchen.
The kitchen is equipped with everything
you'll need for cooking a meal such as a stove,
a sink, a coffee maker, a toaster,
a microwave and a refrigerator.
Of course dishware, pots, pans, utensils
and even a dishwasher are provided.
There is also a table with chairs for dining
in the kitchen area.
The bathroom is found next to the kitchen.
There is a counter, a sink, a mirror and a shower.
For your convenience while you're staying
in this apartment, a washer and dryer are provided
which can be found outside the bedroom door.
The bedroom is furnished with a queen sized bed,
pillows and sheets.
It has two large windows
and a small bedside table with a lamp.
There is a ceiling fan, a dresser,
and a closet for hanging your clothes.
You'll also find a table with a chair
and a lamp tucked into this bedroom.
Well let's go out and explore the neighborhood.
This one bedroom vacation rental is in Harlem,
a great neighborhood in Manhattan.
You'll find the 2 and 3 express subway stop
located just three blocks away from the apartment.
Just one block away, you'll find Marcus Garvey Park
which is one of the oldest public parks in Manhattan.
The park is a great place to meet, play, or relax
for people of all ages.

The Mount Morris Fire Watchtower
is an interesting feature in the park.
Once manned with round-the-clock watchmen
to direct fire engines,
today it serves as an important community landmark.
In 1976 it was listed on the
National Register of Historic Places.
Be sure to check out the MGP Amphitheater,
seen here during a restoration phase.
In 1969 The Harlem Cultural Festival,
also called "Black Woodstock", was held here.
Musical heavy hitters such as B.B. King
and Nina Simone performed at the festival.
