Hi, this is Rich Buccola here in NYC. Today here on behalf of Expert Village I'm going
to show you how to make homemade chicken noodle soup. You need about 4 quarts of water in
that big pot, we're going to add our chicken pieces to this and get our stock going. We're
going to get our stock going before the actual soup so I have all my chicken pieces I'm just
going to add that right into this water. The water does not to be boiling it just needs
to be on a low simmering flame. We're going to let this simmer as we add our stock ingredients
to the chicken broth. We're actually making our chicken stock, put all that right in there
and now we're about to chop up onion and just get one nice size onion. We're going to cut
the ends and what I like to do I like to remove that outer shell cause sometimes it looks
like a little paling color considering the inside. We're just going to chop it up I'm
just going to cut it in half slice one way this way and you don't have to be a fancy
cutter. I'm in the kitchen I am not a professional chef, I guess I'm a house wife guests. So
you wan to chop up the onion and if this is not the consistency you want put the point
of the knife and start in the back. Add it right into the pot of your chicken, nice.
