MALE SPEAKER: How do they feel?
LINK: Demented.
I am ready to make video.

The biggest challenge was figuring out how to put
god-awfully large contacts in our eyes.
Rhett's never worn contacts a day in his life.
Never put them in his eyes.
So the first time he's ever had to do it, they're like
three times as large as a normal contact.
I can't even tell exactly where you're looking.
Not only can't I tell you what you're feeling, but also I
can't tell what direction you're looking in.
RHETT: Have you gotten used to it yet?
LINK: No.
I don't plan on getting used to it.
It's freaky.
RHETT: I've gotten used to it.
LINK: Yeah.
MALE SPEAKER: Yeah, baby.
LINK: It's like riding a bike.
Turn this way.
Look this way.
Look this way.
Look at me.
RHETT: Is it freaky?
LINK: And then we determined that for the final scene of
the whole thing, I had to wear them too, which I had never
put contacts in my eyes ever.
My wife puts in her contact every day, and I have
to leave the room.
It freaks me out.
I get queasy just thinking about it.
But you know what?
I sucked it up, and I did it.
RHETT: You sucked it up.
LINK: I'm a man in a two-year-old's body.
Literally.
RHETT: Well, you have one attached to the
front of your body.
LINK: I'm a man with a two-year-old's body dangling
in front of me.
You know, in order to get these-- they're called full
sclera contacts--
you have to get a prescription.
Even though Rhett, he doesn't need a prescription--
RHETT: I don't need contacts.
LINK: --you have to go through an optometrist.
Luckily, I have connections.
Tony.
His name is Tony.
RHETT: Sounds like a back alley optometrist.
LINK: He hooked us up.
RHETT: Tony!
Ay!
Hook me up with some, you know, full scleras.
Ay.
LINK: No, it's Triangle Visions in
Raleigh, North Carolina.
RHETT: Oh.
OK.
LINK: Cha-ching.
Like I got paid for that.
That means that the second biggest challenge--
every position I had to get into, it was like a level
three yoga position while in a skin-tight green suit.
It was awkward and painful.
RHETT: For me, the biggest challenge was the range of
emotions that I had to keep in my face.
LINK: Show me happy.
Show me sad.
Show me puzzled.
Show me distraught.
RHETT: It's pretty easy, actually.
There's no challenges for me other than getting these
contacts in.
After that it was pretty awesome.
LINK: The lights were hot.
