Welcome. Come in and join us in the Word in our program From House to House where we share
the truth of the Lord who came to give life and that more abundantly. Were talking about
A Royal Wedding Song, from Psalms 45; written by the sons of Korah who were Temple assistants,
for the director of music to be used in worship. Very possibly written for the wedding of King
Solomon. That is the historical part. The spiritual part is that its prophetical and
poetic. It projects into the future and is a beautiful portrait of a coming day when
Jesus Christ, King of kings, our heavenly King Solomon (meaning Peaceable One), taking
up His Bride and the Wedding will be held of the Lord Who gave His very life to purchase
a Bride, a Church without spot or wrinkle. That is only possible through the blood He
shed at Calvary to make us clean and whole. Turn to Psalms 45:9. And this is lesson 9,
called The Bridal Queen. So far our conversations have been about the King, spiritually our
King of kings and Lord of lords, Jesus Christ, who is coming and setting up His kingdom.
This is going to speak about His Bride which we understand is His Church. Reading from
the Life Application Bible. Daughters of kings are among your honored women; at your right
hand is the royal bride in gold of Ophir. I want you to notice a few things - this is
in reference to the bride, a daughter of a king, an honored woman. She is at the right
hand of this king shes marrying. She is not just a bride, but a royal bride and she will
stand in the gold of Ophir. Those are different highlights that we will bring as we teach
this lesson. I want to read the same text in the Amplified. Kings daughters are among
Your honorable women; at Your right hand stands the queen in gold of Ophir. The Life Application
used royal bride, the Amplified says queen in gold of Ophir. We want to use both words
in the lesson. First, it says the bride will be the daughter of a king. This bride is not
from some poor little valley, or a humble people. Were speaking symbolically and not
literal. She will be of royal bloodline. His Bride, His Church will be of a royal bloodline,
the daughter of a king and fitted to be beside this King of all kings. You say what bearing
does that have for us? We are spiritually of a royal bloodline, did you know that? Not
in the natural. I cant brag about who I am or who Ive come from, just from simple and
humble means. But I can boast in the Lord. The Psalmist said he would boast in the Lord,
the humble would hear and be glad? As a child of God, you need to understand your heritage
spiritually. If you have allowed the heavenly Father to adopt you, and in your heart the
Spirit is crying Abba Father, daddy even as Jesus cried out, Abba Father - If you have
allowed that that Spirit of Christ to be born in you then you are born, not only the Spirit,
but of a royal bloodline. This is your second birth that Jesus spoke of, a man must be born-again
or not see the kingdom of God. You may be listening and say, I dont know what youre
talking about. Im not of a royal bloodline. Spiritually you can be, just like the rest
that are fortunate to be adopted by the heavenly Father, the King of kings and Lord of lords.
You can call on His name and be saved. The scripture says Whosoever shall call upon the
name of the Lord shall be saved. It needs to be through the name of Jesus, meaning Savior,
He alone can Save our soul. When you surrender to God and ask Jesus to be your Savior, you
are born anew by the Spirit and become a new bloodline spiritually. You are symbolically
the daughter of a king – a part of that Bride, that Church that Jesus gave Himself
for. Children that are born into this world dont take after their mothers bloodline. They
take after the fathers bloodline. When were born of the Spirit we take after the heavenly
Fathers bloodline. This is speaking of the royal bride and shes made up of daughters
of kings. Its wonderful to be elevated to that position and not be haughty or proud
but grateful. I want to stress – just be grateful that youre into the family of God,
not on merits of your own but because youve humbled your heart and called on the Lord,
knowing you need Him as your Savior. Now (dont lose Psalms 45 because were going to refer
back there) look at Jeremiah 46: 18 K.J. I want you to be aware that the Word of God
declares the Lord is that King, Ok? As I live, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of
hosts, Surely as Tabor is among the mountains, and as Carmel by the sea, so shall he come.
The Lord is declaring Himself to be the King and His name is the Lord of hosts. Weve stamped
it like a certificate with the authority that He is backing this up. He is the King. We
are like the Kings daughters when were talking about the bride of Jesus Christ. There are
going to be many men as part of this body of Christ. This is not just a select group
of women, females. But for the sake of teaching and understanding, the Lord uses different
pictures to give us a different side of the message. When He speaks of us being His Bride
or His Church without spot or wrinkle, He likens us to daughters of a king. Sorry, fellows,
I know you listen. Im not trying to offend you but thats scripturally so. Take it for
its symbolic purpose, alright? It says in Psalms 45:9 Daughters of kings are among your
honored women. So this bride is made up of people who have lived a life that God can
honor. Did you know that were not only to honor the king and Lord. But the Lord would
like to honor us. Isnt that amazing? That us simpletons, creatures of the dust of this
earth, that the Lord would honor us as well. But this bride, this company of people, His
believers –will be those that are honored by God. We should desire that we live a life
that God can honor. Not everybodys life is honorable, true? We should aim by the Spirit
of God dwelling within us, to give it right of way to lead us that our life would be such
that God can honor it. Even before the eyes of man, they will see our lives have been
honored by God. We see a glimpse of this when Samuel was young and dedicated to the Temple.
He grew up to be a mighty prophet of God and a leader of Gods people. But in his youth
the Lord dealt with the priest who was the head of all the worship there, among the children
of Israel. God could not honor that man any more even though he was the high priest over
worship and the Lords people. Why? He failed to honor God and I want us to learn a principle
here, ladies. Turn to I Samuel 2:30 in King James, Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith,
(this is the words of God) I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should
walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour
me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed. Isnt it a shame
that in the latter years of this mans life, the man that was leading Gods people, supposed
to be the example for Gods people and he failed in disciplining his sons? Yes, he spoke to
them, he failed to restrain them. They were doing things that were disgusting to God,
contrary to godliness. God required that Eli, who was the priest, to also take care of his
family properly and he failed at home. And thats very possible to happen when youre caught
up in doing the things of the Lord. Those of you that are involved in ministry, be careful
that you look well to the ways of your household and keep a balance. The Lord is going to be
looking there seriously, just as He is when youre on the platform or in front of a camera.
Eli failed and God considered it as a fact that he had failed to honor God, in not restraining
his sons, to not honor Gods rules and Gods ways. And God said, If you dont honor Me,
I cant honor you, is the bottom line. Women of God, I encourage you that you would look
well to, not only your spiritual life and practical living, but the ways of your household,
that in all your ways you endeavor - with Gods strength, help and ability that He gives
because youre leaning on Him and calling upon Him – that you will be honoring God in all
your ways so that then God can honor you. What a wonderful thing to walk a walk that
God is able to honor you. This is what its describing here in Psalms 45:9. His bride,
the King of kings bride will be a people that can be honored. Not like Eli who was moved
out of his role promptly by the hand of God because he failed. Back to Psalms 45:9, Daughters
of Kings are among your honored women; at your right hand is the royal bride, Lets think
for a moment about standing at the right hand. The Amplified says Your honorable women; at
Your right hand stands the queen. What a privilege to stand at the right hand of the king because
at the right hand is considered the position of authority, the position of power, the position
of favor. She is not in some side room, as unimportant but moved up to stand beside the
King in His authority and in His power as joint heir. Isnt it wonderful that Jesus said,
ladies, we were going to be given the privilege to be joint-heirs with Him – not somebody
to follow along behind Him as inferior, as something to be ashamed of, but, He moves
us forward. Not with arrogance, haughtiness or a holier than thou attitude – but He
moves us right beside Him to be at His right hand of His authority and His power. He gives
us the responsibility to demonstrate through the Holy Ghost, that operative in our lives.
Lets consider the subject of standing at the right hand. Do you know that in the Book of
Ezekiel 22:30 He said there was this occasion when He was looking for someone that would
stand in the gap and make up the hedge for Him so that He would not have to destroy it,
but He couldnt find anybody. What a sad picture here that God Himself sought for someone who
would be willing to stand in the gap, so that it would be solidified; it would be a wall
of protection and preservation, but He couldnt find anybody to fill that role. The Lord is
looking for a people thats willing to stand at His right hand, as an intercessor, a petitioner,
one that will call upon the name of the Lord in a position of spiritual authority and power
through the Holy Ghost, on the behalf of others. The Lord couldnt find any. What the Lord was
speaking of in Ezekiel 22:30 was how desperate it was in its condition and it was on the
verge of being destroyed. God was looking for somebody as a good reason to save the
land. It says, And I sought a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in
the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none. Thats one
of the saddest verses in the scripture –God looked for somebody to fill a role, He couldnt
find anybody. God is looking for somebody to pray for your neighborhood, your relatives
and family –to pray for your nation, for situations and He has to overlook you because
youre not willing to take up that responsibility – how sad. May you be a volunteer and say
Lord, when youre looking for somebody to stand in the position of intercession, to stand
in the gap and make up that hedge so there be no loss - Im willing, I volunteer Lord
that your Spirit can call on me to pray when theres a special need to prayer. Theres times
when a missionary is in desperate circumstances, maybe life threatening and saying O God, cause
somebody back home to pray. Are your ears in tune in case the Holy Spirit would want
to pick you and say Go pray, drop the vacuum, the dishes and go cry out and pray. Theres
someone standing in need of prayer right now at this very hour. Many peoples lives have
been spared because someone heard when the Spirit said Go pray, drop what youre doing,
go pray. Are you willing to be obedient and take that place. I trust youll be willing
just like Esther was. Lets look at Esther 5:1-4 and how she stood in the sight of the
king and found favor and she was a petitioner for the salvation of her People or they would
have all been destroyed. On the third day [of the fast] Esther put on her royal robes
and stood in the royal or inner court of the kings palace opposite his [throne room]. The
king was sitting on his throne, facing the main entrance of the palace. And when the
king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, she obtained favor in his sight, and
he held out to [her] the golden scepter that was in his hand. So Esther drew near and touched
the tip of the scepter. Then the king said to her, What will you have, Queen Esther?
What is your request? It shall be given you, even to the half of the kingdom. And Esther
said, if it seems good to the king, let the king and Haman come this day to the dinner
that I have prepared for the king. Her motive was, that she was going to maneuver things
to the point where she could ask for the life of her People that had been assigned to be
slaughtered and to death. She was willing to be an intercessor. Oh, this body of this
royal Bride that Christ is coming for, to be wedded to, will be a People who are willing
not only stand in the gap but to stand at His right hand as petitioners and intercessors.
I hope youre one of those that volunteer. Her position of favored authority and power
was what was significant in her hour. The Lord has given us a position and responsibility,
in the Word, Amplified Luke 10:19. It says, Behold! I have given you authority and power
to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability]
over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you. The
Lord assigns us, through the Holy Ghost, authority and power to defeat the works of the devil
and that is a position Hes given us. Are you willing to fill it? Psalms 45:9 calls her,
not only the queen, but a royal bride because shes going to reign and rule with her Beloved
Bridegroom. Amplified Revelation 5:10 says, And You have made them a kingdom (royal race)
and priests to our God, and they shall reign [as kings] over the earth! Who? The Body of
Christ, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Hes made us a royal race, a priest hood unto
Him. WE are to reign as kings over the earth. Can you imagine someday, little old you and
me filling those kind of shoes if we are faithful before the Lord. Psalms 45:9 (to finish out
the verse) says She is going to stand there in the gold of Ophir. Ophir was the name of
a place that means abundance of gold. This place was famous for exquisite gold, possibly
in Arabia or Africa. In her garments would be this gold which symbolizes trials and fires
that she has come through but has overcome. Lets read Amplified Version Job 23: 10 to
explain that to us. It says, But He knows the way that I take [He has concern for it,
appreciates, and pays attention to it]. When He has tried me, I shall come forth as refined
gold [pure and luminous]. And Amplified Version, Revelation 3:21 in closing it says, He who
overcomes (is victorious), I will grant him to sit beside Me on My throne, as I Myself
overcame (was victorious) and sat down beside My Father on His throne. Where will we get
the gold for our garments? It will be as we go through the fiery trials but we come out
as overcomers. How? By His grace Child of God. Be strengthened and encouraged if youre
in fiery trials, know that its separating the dross from the gold, the wonderful, valuable
gold. We will stand before Him in the gold of Ophir as we have come through our trials
and testings. I thank you for being with us and I want to encourage you to join us next
time for the subject of Bridal Instructions. Until then, God
be with you. Amen
