JANETTE: Five, six, seven.
Go Melanie, start it.
[SINGING - "GASOLINA"]
MELANIE: It's been a week this week, guys.
It's been a week.
RICKY: With my other half over here, Janette, from Miami.
Oh, my god.
MELANIE: Miami.
RICKY: Miami.
INTERVIEWER: All right.
I have a question for Melanie.
MELANIE: OK.
INTERVIEWER: tWitch.
MELANIE: I love him!
Yeah, he's the greatest.
He's the greatest.
He's so funny and literally, I would not have gotten through
that number without him.
It was so hard, and it was so fast.
And I was like, what you mean one, two, three, four, all in
the same count?
I don't-- what?
I'm sorry.
He helped me out through that number so much.
And he's just the coolest.
So relaxed and chill, and he really cares about whoever his
partner is.
And I just love him.
I love you, tWtich.
INTERVIEWER: You looked like a champion doing that number.
MELANIE: Whoa, thank you.
Oh, my gosh.
Thanks.
INTERVIEWER: It really was.
And you got rave reviews from Nigel.
MELANIE: Thanks.
INTERVIEWER: Like crazy.
How did that feel, both times?
MELANIE: It was really exciting.
RICKY: Honestly, yeah.
MELANIE: It was just really exciting.
INTERVIEWER: Both you guys did.
RICKY: Beast dancer, the beast.
INTERVIEWER: Ricky, the second dance you guys
did, was that fun?
It looked like you guys had a hell of a time.
RICKY: Yes.
Are we allowed to say that?
Yeah.
I had a hell of a time.
Good.
Because seriously, dancing with Sasha-- one, the brown
chocolates finally got united.
And we had so much fun on stage.
Even in rehearsal, we were having a blast.
And finally it came together on stage.
Yeah, chocolate!
Just saying.
INTERVIEWER: You looked like a sexy Steve
Urkel out there, man.
MELANIE: What?
Sexy Steve Urkel.
Good.
INTERVIEWER: Didn't anybody else say that to you?
RICKY: No.
Actually, you're the first person.
But you know what?
I can see it.
MELANIE: It's accurate.
I like it.
RICKY: Should have thrown some glasses on and
just called it a day.
INTERVIEWER: Seriously.
Melanie, there was a total difference
between the two dances.
How was that transition?
MELANIE: Well, one was really crazy, and the other was
really sexy.
So I had to sort of just get all my crazy out in that
dance, all the head craziness and the screaming.
And then, I had to just bring the sexy back.
You know, bringing the sexy back.
RICKY: She always does.
MELANIE: Yeah, I mean, I haven't really gotten to be
the sexy character yet either, so that was really exciting.
He knows how it is.
Duh.
Come on.
