Hi! This is Kerri Hernandez and I’m going to be teaching you some advanced belly dance
steps today on expertvillage.com. The next thing that I’m going to teach you is a horizontal
figure-eight. You are going to want to bend your legs slightly and you are going to turn
your hip and you are going to push it out back all the way to the back and slide it
to the front and go to the side, to the back, slide it to the front, side, back, front,
side, back and smooth it out…and that’s a horizontal figure-eight. I guess you can
do it the other way too but I don’t know if you want me to put that in there… you
can also do it the other way, the horizontal figure-eight by taking it to the back and
to the front, usually I find that one is easier than the other and that is the horizontal
figure-eight.
