Welcome to this weeks edition of BestMusicLive TV where we have a passion for live music!
Coming up, Slash & RCHP Rock the Hall, Outside Lands announce Line-up, Tupac rocks Coachella,
Who goes home on Idol, and more right here on Bestmusiclive TV
The Outside Lands Festival organizers announced this week their line-up to include headliners
Stevie Wonder, Metallica, Foo Fighters, Neil Young.  Tickets went on sale earlier today.
Check out the post on for the links for the full line-up and how
to get tickets.
Who went home this week on Idol well on of the favorites, Colton Dixon ended up in the
bottom 3 and largely due to not bringing his A game last night he was sent packing.  "I
wasn't myself last night, and I get it. I appreciate what you told me last night. I'll
take that when I'm making a record." said Colton on his way out.  The judges told him
he should look forward to a long career in music.  Good luck, Colton!
Slash, with members of Guns and Roses (minus one bitter Axl Rose) along side Red Hot Chili
Peppers (minus one John Frusciante) rock the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in one of the more
memorable Rock Hall shows.  Other inductees included the Beastie Boys, Faces, Tom Dowd,
and Freddie King among others.  And for the record, I thought Myles Kennedy did a better
job singing GnR than that other guy. Check out the video posts on our facebook fan page

During Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg’s set at Coachella, Tupac showed up, well a halogram of him at
least, which was rumored to cost ½ million of Dr Dre’s own cash to make happen . . . speaking
of rumors they are flying with “Tupac” going on tour with Dre and Snoop.  Wouldn’t
that be something . . . who’s next? Freddie Mercury? SRV? Nirvana?
Sad news usually comes in threes and this week is no exception, Greg Ham of Men at Work,
Levon Helm of the Band, and Dick Clark passed away this week.  Our condolences to their
family, friends and fans.  Their legacies will live on in the music!
New Singles out this week include Linkin Park “Burn It Down”, Rush “Headlong Flight”,
Soundgarden “Live to Rise” and new albums from Jack Johnson “Best of Kokua Festival”,
Jason Mraz “Love is a four letter word”, and DragonForce “The Power Within”
Breaking news on undiscovered talent . . . this will be viral by tomorrow, meet Brandon MacFarlane
who is somewhere between the age of 9 and 11.  He blows away his local guitar shop
and will be known globally in a matter of hours. Check out the video on
