Today we will make palak paneer Sabzi in microwave.
It takes minimal efforts in making palak paneer Sabzi in microwave.
Let’s see what all ingredients are required for making palak paneer Sabzi in microwave.
Spinach - 500 grams (remove stalk, wash twice and pat dry)
Spinach - 500 grams (remove stalk, wash twice and pat dry)
Paneer - 200 grams (cut into 1 inch chunks)
Tomato - 4
Green chilly - 2
Cream - 2-3 tbsp
Oil - 2tbsp
Ginger - 1 inch piece (grated or 1 tsp paste)
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Cumin seeds - ½ tsp
Salt - ¾ tsp (as per taste)
Sugar - ½ tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Red chilly powder - ¼ tsp
Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
Garam masala - ¼ tsp
For making palak paneer Sabzi in microwave, cook spinach in microwave first.
Take spinach in microwave safe bowl.
Cover it and microwave for four minutes.
Meanwhile grind tomatoes and green chilies.
After four minutes take out bowl from microwave
Spinach is cooked, now grind it.
Let it cool down first.
Meanwhile prepare masala for spinach.
Take a microwave safe bowl and add oil into it.
Microwave it for 2 minutes.
After two minutes add cumin seeds, asafoetida and sauté for 2 minutes in microwave
Again take out bowl and add turmeric powder, coriander powder, ginger paste and tomato paste.
Also add red chilly powder.
Now microwave the masala for 3 minutes.
After 3 minutes add spinach paste in the masala
Also add salt, sugar, garam masala and cream.
Microwave Sabzi for 3 more minutes
After 3 minutes mix paneer chunks in the gravy.
Microwave for 1 more minute
Take out Sabzi n another bowl and garnish with cream.
Appetizing microwave palak paneer Sabzi is ready.
We have used cream but if you prefer not adding it then simply skip this ingredient.
This much quantity of palak paneer Sabzi can be served to 3-4 family members.
Serve with chapatti, parantha or naan.
