First Lady Michelle Obama: Thank you.
I am thrilled to be here in London for the
2012 Olympic games.
(cheers and applause)
And I am proud to be leading the U.S. delegation to the
opening ceremonies that's happening tonight.
That's pretty cool.
And I am delighted to be here with so many outstanding young
people from all across the UK and the U.S.A.
Being an Olympian isn't just about winning a gold
or setting a record.
It's about pushing yourself, right, and believing in yourself.
And it's also about being active and taking care of
your bodies, you guys.
And in the end, that's what Let's Move is all about.
It's about helping kids like you live happier,
healthier lives.
And that's really why we brought you all here today,
because we want you to see that there are all kinds of
ways, right, all kinds of ways that you can stay active and
have fun doing it.
You don't have to be an Olympian.
You don't have to join a team, but there are so many ways
that you can have fun and keep yourselves moving.
All right, so I'm going to stop talking so you guys can
go back to having fun.
And I'm going to come around to each of the stations and
try some stuff too.
(cheers and applause)
All right, so you guys, let's move, let's move!

or a Paralympian, the fact is that you all have so much
promise, right.
And I want you all to know that.
Think in your heads, I am important!
I have promise!
There are things that I can do!
We love you, but we want you to take care of yourselves,
help your families, turn off the TV, eat some vegetables.
Yeah, that's part of it.
Because we want you guys to grow up and have the futures
you deserve.
