Today, we will prepare Beans Aloo without gravy.
Beans Aloo Sabzi is very delicious.
Let us see what all ingredients are required to prepare Beans Aloo ki Sabzi.
French beans - 250 grams.
Potatoes - 3
Finely chopped coriander - 2 to 3 tbsp
Grated ginger or paste of ginger - A piece of 1 inch
Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp.
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Jeera (cumin) - 1/2 tsp
Heeng (Asafoetida) - 1 pinch
Dhaniya powder - 1 tsp
Aamchur powder - 1/4 tsp
Red pepper - less than 1/4 tsp
Salt - 3/4 tsp or according to the taste.
Green chilly - 2
Oil - 2 to 3 tbsp
Let us cut the beans to prepare the vegetable.
Take out the edges from both the sides.
Make the small pieces of beans.
Beans are ready and heat the pan now.
Peel the potatoes and cut it into pieces in the meantime.
Potatoes are blackened when they are cut before time.
Add oil in the pan since the pan is heated.
Add jeera in the pan.
Also, add Heeng, Turmeric powder, Dhaniya powder and ginger paste in it.
Fry all the spices.
Add green chilly in it.
Put potatoes and beans.
Also, add red chilly and salt to it.
Roast the vegetables for 2 minutes to mix spices in it.
The spices should coat the pieces of vegetables properly.
Add 1/4 cup water in it.
Cover it with a lid and cook the vegetable for 6 to 7 minutes.
Let us check it once.
Press the pieces of potatoes to check whether potatoes are cooked or not.
The Sabzi is now ready.
We have cooked the vegetable for 6 to 7 minutes in mid-flame, checked it and added a little bit more water in it.
The vegetable was cooked again for 6 to 7 minutes.
Again it was cooked for 2 minutes.
It took 16 minutes in all to cook the vegetable.
The vegetable is now ready.
Add Aamchur powder, Garam Masala and coriander in it.
The vegetable cooked in mid-flame is very delicious as the water required is very less.
Turn off the gas now and take out the vegetable in a bowl.
Garnish it with coriander leaves.
The Beans Aloo sabzi is now ready.
This much quantity of Sabzi can be eaten by 4 to 5 members of the family.
Beans Aloo Subzi can be served with Chapati, Parantha, Naan or Rice.
