Am I a religious man? No, of course not...
I was never one of those people that spent their time praying to a god that stop giving a s*** about them...
But if you ask me... Yeah, there's a higher power... Able of punishing us...
I got to believe... Just look around us... Everything that happened, all we've been through... There has to be some force out there...
Truth is we deserved to be punished. We lived so focus on ourselves and our amazing lives
Not giving a s*** about anyone else... We had forgotten what it was being a part of the human race...
A Neo Potter Production
And in the end, that's what brought us down...
Megiddo
I was one of those people, living only for me, to satisfy my needs.
I lived alone of course, had no close family. My parents? Can't even remember the last time I heard from them...
Episode 2 The Life Before
I don't even know if they died before all this... Or during it... Or even if they still alive...
Ow S***!
I lived a meaningless live. I had no steady job, every pay I got scamming people i spent
either gambling, or f****** 10 dollar hookers, or drinking my self in to the brink of consciousness

I owed money every place you can owe money. I was selfish and a hypocrite.
I thought I didn't anyone to live. I had a pretty shitty live: to me, the only way out was suicide...

And then the world I knew just vanished...
And while for many, it was the end, for me it was a new beginning...
Strangely, out of the blue, I had a reason to live...
Based on the novel "World War Z" by Max Brooks
It was a Tuesday afternoon... For weeks, the TV spook of the disease...
But like the rest of the people, and since I was f****** stupid, I ignored every sign...
People talked about rumors of cases in the town, it started to become day-to-day stuff to walk by parts of the town
and buildings being completely quarantined...
Every one still ignored it all...
Until the day we couldn't ignore it anymore...
I was home when I turned on the TV, and all I saw was the emergency broadcast. Same as the radio...
And the chaos happening in the streets... F***... I'll never forget those screams.
But i shouldn't... As punishment for what I did...
I stepped out to see what was happening and it was walking into some other world...
Flaming buildings, people running, screaming: "They're coming, they're coming!"... Shops being robbed...
F****** stupid... Shops?! The world was ending all around them and their main concern was to get an extra Tv or Stereo?
Then, I turned my head at the end of the street, and I realized who they... were...
They dragged, and stumble on to they're next victim...
Usually those that couldn't run fast enough, or simply fall on the middle of all that chaos...
Then... Then I started running... I wanted to keep as far way as possible from those monsters...
I heard neighbors screaming for help, but what the f*** did I care if they're daughter had become gang rapped
or if they're wife had become dinner?
I only wanted to get the f*** out of there... And keep alive...
To do what I was good at: running from problems, and being a f****** coward...
If I just stayed and helped...
I ran as fast as I could... All I saw was people in need... People in wheelchairs, trapped in cars...
A mother trying to save their children from a burning car...
Car jams were enormous, people wanted to take everything they had...
They never realized that they should only take the essential stuff. All that junk only slowed them down...
I went by hospitals: jam-packed with people, and still more people wanted to get in... Schools as well...
And churches? There were people inside screaming their prays against their god that had forgotten about them a long time ago...
If he ever existed to begin with...
Malls at the time? Honestly looked like the best option...
Lots of supplies in stores, building security... It was all an illusion...
They're only herding food, well themselves, in one place for those things... No matter how long it took
they would need to leave someday...
Supplies wouldn't last forever... And when they did, they would be waiting... Hungry...
Sometimes they didn't need to leave... All it toke was a small mistake: someone forgot to close a door
or a broken window...
Many of those places became food for the first waves of zombies...
And as expected, a lot of zombies got out of those places...
They are the perfect army: every time one of us falls, one of them rises...
Of course, I had seen to many movies of that kind, and contrary to other people, I knew i should avoid crowded places...
All that mattered was to run. Run to where there was nobody. I had more chances alone...
At least that's what I thought...
With company, you could become their favorite target, but alone you become their favorite prey...
They're not ferocious as a single enemy, but in pack of 50-100, more, they're f****** unstoppable
especial for someone alone like me...
That was, well, established after my escape...
I was trying to get by an alley, that looked empty, when one of those things saw me...
It was f****** horrible...It started running towards me, screaming, howling, calling everyone, all of them around...
And suddenly there were a few dozens of them, and a few minutes later there were a few hundreds...
I started running in the other direction, as fast as I could... But that sometimes is not enough...
And... when all seemed lost...
"Hey kid, up here!"
It was my salvation...
To be continued...
