Hi, what follows is a law enforcement interview questions and answers at a police oral board.
The police officer interview questions you’re about to hear is typical of the police interview
questions asked. It has a few police interview tips in it.
This will help you prepare to better answer interview questions for a police officer job.
You and another officer respond to a burglary call at a home.
As you go through the house and find no one there, you observe your partner take a $20
bill off a dresser and put it in his pocket. No one else witnesses this but you.
How would you address this situation? Jeez, pocketing money is he sir?
I don’t really know, maybe I didn’t see it right.
Perhaps he thinks he’s taking it for evidence? Who knows?
It’s only a one off. I’ll just continue checking the house and
pretend I didn’t see anything. Why create waves with your buddy when you
don’t have to? Give them the benefit of the doubt.
Catching the burglar is the first priority. I’m not confronting my buddy.
It’s too embarrassing. I have to work with this guy.
Just be cool, man. Don’t make waves.
It’ll create too much paperwork if I report him.
I’ve got enough already as it is. What do you think of my reply?
You and another officer respond to a burglary call at home.

bill off a dresser and put it in his pocket. No one else witnesses this but you.
How would you address this situation? That’s a bit of a shock, sir.
I mean, my partner has committed a theft. I’d speak to him about it immediately.
I’d tell him that I saw. Tell him the seriousness of it.
And hear what he’d have to say. I’d then report it to my supervisor.
I’d let him know what I saw and what he said to me when I asked him about it.
I’ll let my supervisor investigate it. If an officer will steal $20 when another
officer is around, what’s he taking when he’s all alone?
What do you think of that reply? That was an example of law enforcement interview
questions and answers as part of the selection process for police officers.

However, no one can guarantee a civil service job.
As it also depends on the competition from the other candidates.
And how well they are prepared. Nevertheless I still recommend this guide.
