JESS LEPROTTO: Before Newsies, I had the chance of being part
of this season's So You Think You Can Dance.
I made the top 10, and then I wound up going on tour.
So it was an amazing experience.
We got to meet incredible choreographers, great people,
and the fans are just one of a kind.
They're truly very supportive.
Once So You Think You Can Dance tour was done, I
actually found out a couple weeks ago that it was coming
to Broadway.
I was like, how exciting is that.
Hopefully I get seen, and we'll see what happens.
And then I went in.
I auditioned, and I found I got in.
It's amazing.
It's just an incredible group of people, amazing
choreography by Chris Gatelli, and its timeless.
It's a cult classic.
EVAN KASPRZAK: I was on So You Think You Can
Dance season five.
I auditioned with my brother, initially, and then they split
us up when it was time for the top 20.
And then I made it all the way to the finale.
I was the third place finisher.
And I was the first Broadway--
"Broadway" dancer.
THAYNE JASPERSON: And I was on season four.
I was in Utah, and the audition came through so I was
like, well, I should go to that.
So, I was on as a contemporary dancer, and I loved it.
I loved working with all the choreographers.
It was amazing.
EVAN KASPRZAK AND THAYNE JASPERSON: Hey, Just Dancers.
EVAN KASPRZAK: It's Evan.
THAYNE JASPERSON: And Thayne.
EVAN KASPRZAK: Come check out Newsies.
THAYNE JASPERSON: March 29.
EVAN KASPRZAK: In New York, on Broadway.
THAYNE JASPERSON: Sweet.
