My name is Jenny Droz, I'm an OBGYN at Swedish Medical Center. When I meet a patient for
the first time, the most important thing is making sure that she understands that I'm listening
and that she leaves my office feeling comfortable, even if we don't cover everything in the first
visit, it's important that we develop a rapport. And developing a relationship with a patient
is probably the reason I went into OBGYN in the first place. I get to see young women
who are coming into the office for the first time for contraceptive counseling, or their
first pelvic exam. I get to see women who are dealing with their first pregnancy or
it's their sixth pregnancy. And I get to see who are getting ready to go through the menopause
and entering another stage of life. When a patient chooses Swedish Medical Center for
their OBGYN care, she is choosing an institution that has an excellent history. We have lots
of very experienced and well respected specialists all working hard to make sure that the patient
is the most important person in the room, and that she's getting the best care possible.
When a family comes in to have a baby, that's going to be one of the most importable days
of that family's life, and I absolutely feel that it's a privilege to be part of that day,
and to help make that day go as smoothly as possible for everybody involved. Taking care
of patients, making them comfortable with the care that they're receiving, and making
sure their questions are answered, is something that I really value. I think that it's important
for women to have easy access to inexpensive health care that's high quality, and I think
that we provide that at Swedish. At Swedish Medical Center we provide excellent care for you and your family.
