Today, we will prepare Besan waali Gwar Phali.
Let us see what all do we require to prepare the Besan Waali Gwar Phali.
Washed and dried Gwar Phali - 250 grams.
Finely cut coriander - 2 to 3 tbsp.
Besan - 2 tbsp
Oil - 3 to 4 tbsp
Heeng (Asafoetida) - 1 to 2 pinch.
Salt - 3/4 tbsp
Red Pepper - 1/4 tsp
Grated ginger or paste of ginger - 1 inch
Finely cut green chilly - 2.
Dhaniya powder - 1 tsp
Aamchur powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam Masala - less than 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/3 tsp
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Boil the Gwar Phali first to prepare Besan waali Gwar Phali.
Add water in it in the quantity that it dips the Phali.
Turn on the gas.
Check it after 3 to 4 minutes once it boils.
Cover it with a lid and let it boil.
It took 20 minutes to boil the Gwar Phalis.
We can also cook these in a cooker.
It takes 1 whistle of a pressure cooker to boil the Gwar Phali.
Take out the Gwar Phali in a sieve.
Remove the fibers from it once it cools down.
Take out the fibers from both the ends.
Make sure to take out the fibres from a broader side.
It is very important to take its thread out. Otherwise, these do not taste good.
Take out edges only from the small Phalli because these do not contain fibres.
Turn on the gas and heat the pan.
Cut the long beans into small pieces and leave the small the pieces.
Take oil in the pan.
Add Jeera, Heeng, ginger and green chilly in it.
Fry the spices.
Also add Besan in it and fry it.
Cook the Besan till it turns light brown.
Add turmeric powder and Dhaniya powder.
Roast the spices once again.
Now, add Phalis in it.
Also add salt, red pepper, Aamchur powder and Garam Masala in it.
Mix all the spices nicely in the beans.
Add coriander.
The Gwar Phalli is now ready.
Garnish it with remaining coriander.
The delicious Besan waali Gwar Phali is now ready.
This quantity of the vegetable can be served to 4 to 5 members of the family.
It can be served with Chapatti, Parantha, Naan and rice.
