Today, we will prepare sweet Boondi of Besan.
It is a very delicious sweet and you will love it.
Let us see what all do we require to prepare the sweet Boondi of Besan.
Fine Besan (gram flour) - 2 cups.
Sugar - 3 cups.
Cardamom - 7 to 8.
Oil to fry Boondi.
We will first prepare the mixture of Besan to prepare the meethi Boondi.
Add half cup water and dissolve the Besan.
Make a smooth mixture till the lumps disappear.
Beat it for 4-5 minutes.
We have prepared this mixture in 3/4 cup of water.
Keep the mixture for 15 minutes to ferment the mixture.
Prepare the Chasni till the time the mixture ferments.
Take sugar in a container and add water in it.
Add 1 and half cup water in it.
Turn on the gas.
Prepare the Chasni till the time the mixture ferments.
Cook the Chasni till sugar in it dissolves.
Check the Chasni now.
See whether it sticks on your fingers or not.
If it sticks on your finger then it is ready.
If there are impurities in the sugar, then add 2 tbsp sugar in the chasni and remove the foam thus obtained.
This will make the Chasni clean and pure.
The clear Chasni is now ready.
Add powder of cardamom seeds in it.
Add 2 tbsp oil in the mixture of Besan.
Beat the mixture once again.
Heat the oil.
Check the oil by dropping 1 boondi in it.
The oil is heated since the Boondi is coming up.
Pour 1-2 tsp batter on a sieve and cook the boondi on mid-flame.
Boondis are coming out from the ladle and are coming up after heating.
Move the ladle to take out all the mixture from it.
Fry these till these turn light brown.
Boondis have turned light brown and we will take them out now.
Add them in a Chasni.
Prepare all the Boondis like this.
Keep them in Chasni for 30-40 minutes.
Boondis will absorb Chasni and sugar will also freeze in this time.
The sweet Boondi of Besan is now ready.
You can store the Boondi in an airtight container and use them for one month.
